يحوطها الجنود وتحرسها الطائرات.

حين تنشب الحروب
ستظل ورود الشرفات على قيد الحياة
وتشتعل المعارك في جبال القرى.

سيموت الفلاحون والحصادون وسائقو الشاحنات
لكن المحاصيل
ستظل تتدفق إلى رفوف المتاجر.
