انتقص العمر إثنى عشر قمرًا حين كسرت الصمت وكتبت مجددًا «أحبك اليوم» قصصت بدر الحب بيننا ووضعته فوق قصاصات الصحف ليضئ سنواتى. طوال خسوف «أحبك اليوم» ضمت ذراعيها على صدرها ووضعت كفيها على وجهها وارتمت جنين حب بين ضلوعي وهمست... النواميس محض غيب دع الكون للكون وانس القمر والمد واذكر فقط أنى أحبك اليوم، اشربنى واسقنى ودع الغد للغد.
في توصيف المقاربات الشعرية، يكون الشاعر في هذه المجموعة وغيرها، على مقربةٍ من شاعرين ذي ملمحين متفرديَن، هما (أبو العلاء المعري وأحمد الصافي النجفي)..، ومثل هذا التقارب لا يعني التقليد، وإنما يُشير إلى المناخ الشعري العام الموصوف (ببرودة الفضّة) عند الشاعرين، إضافةً إلى حسّيتهما في التأمل الوجودي. كما أنَّ هذا التقارب، هو ما يمنح الشاعر /وليد حسين/ خصوصيته الشعرية التي ينفرد بها من بين مجايليه، وهنا أستحضر القول: ما من شاعر مهم إلا وفيه شيء من شاعر مهم سبقَه: وعند سماعي للمجيبِ توسّعت مداركُ افهامٍ يضيقُ بها الأعمى. ............، أجسادنا طينُ انبعاجِ الكونِ من ماءٍ مهينٍ.. إن تخلّفَ منهلُ. .............، لا لستَ مثلي.. لي مجسّاتٌ..، أباحتْ من عظيمِ الشكِّ في الحَدَثانِ.Show book
