What’s the secret to becoming a successful, inspiring school leader? Learning how to unlock and support greatness…in OTHERS.
With apologies to the Navy Seals, professional sports coaches, and Fortune 500 CEOs:
Your leadership advice doesn’t always apply to what's going on in education.
Leading at school isn't like leading anywhere else. We should probably stop pretending that it is.
At school, we must serve any and all clients (whether they pay or not), it's nearly impossible to fire our people (we love tenure but there are downsides to everything), and we are often supervised by elected officials (many of whom have never worked a day in our profession).
From an extraordinary partnership between a teacher and an administrator, best-selling Otherful is the easy-to-read (and laugh-out-loud) book for those who’ve discovered that influence is mightier than control. Research-backed and practitioner-tested, it’s a brilliant resource for in-school PD, administrator leadership classes, and faculty retreats. Otherful reveals an ancient truth of leadership: the most formidable power isn’t force; it’s relationship building.
Otherful will give you the tools to:
    ● Replace faculty complaining with proactive problem-solving
    ● Undercut conflict through active listening and tactical reframing
    ● Do less work, get better results, and be respected more
"DESPERATELY NEEDED IN EDUCATION... Otherful is NONSTOP TAKEAWAYS, ACTION PLANS, AND FUN with insights that defy the confines of school and will impact your work in any organization." -Greg Rosenbaum, Senior Director of SXSWEDU
"...AN EXCEPTIONAL BOOK...Kleba & O'Hara's book could sit comfortably in a business bookcase under leadership development." -Getting Smart
Don’t be selfless or selfish; be otherful

Kidnapped and abused, Azim is losing hope. Can his fated mate save him body, mind, and soul?
Azim Boaz is a hard-working vampire who takes care of his family until his freedom is taken from him. Drugged and kidnapped, Azim is sold to a sadist. His strength and spirit are whittled away by his cruel captor, but hope arrives in the form of a tentacled savior.
Working as a consultant on a missing person case Victor Thalassa catches the scent of his mate—one of the missing paranormals he’s searching for. Despite the connection between them, Victor doesn’t want to make the silent vampire his until Azim is strong enough to make his own choices.
Azim’s kidnappers want him back. Will Victor and the rest of the Shadow Team be able to discover who is behind the kidnapping ring, and keep Azim safe?
Victor #2 is a paranormal gay romance, with a vampire with an inner strength that rivals the world’s strongest man, and a kraken who learns the true meaning of finding the heart of himself in another.
This is the second book in the Tangled Tentacles Series. Each book in this series will deal with a new couple, therefore while the HEA is guaranteed, the Epilogue for each book will lead into the next title.

This is an introduction to The Tao of Human Interactions.
I decided to write this book because of the need for an effective system of managing and enhancing people's ability to communicate. Its applications span business as well as personal interactions. It can be a simple way of assessing the personalities of people around you and enabling you to better interact with them. I've played the role of an employee in middle management as well as upper management. One essential skill for any good manager is communication. It is important to be able to assess the people you are managing and also to be able to effectively deliver the correct messages. It is not only important to deliver the ideas, but it also needs to be done in a way that impacts the audience correctly. An effective manager must also assess and manage the emotional states of the people involved. I have spent a good part of my life working as an employee and in upper management and middle management. I have also consulted management for many different types of organizations in the public as well as the private sector. I have worked in specific industries such as transit, technology, public works, city government, the military, and hospitality. My approach has always been to try to create effective modes of interaction and communication between employees and middle management, as well as between management and upper management.
This book is concerned mostly with daily interactions at the employee level. The system and skills taught can be applied to any interaction in the business and personal life. Management systems are often well thought out and well structured, but quite often, they do not lend themselves to the chaotic, on-the-spot timber of human interactions. The Tao of Human Communications is a system rooted in present-moment fluid interactions. Crusaders - Wars and Crusades...

The Crusaders is one of those dark chapters in history that we would rather forget, especially religious people. In name of the church, or other religions, like the Muslim faith, people killed, destroyed, looted, and burned cities to the ground. There is nothing “holy” about attacking and plundering, yet this is what they did.
The Crusades were a series of spiritual fights in the middle ages period that were begun, supported, and sometimes ordered by the Latin Church.
The most popular of these Crusades are those to the Holy Land between 1095 and 1291, which aimed to recover Jerusalem and its environments from Islamic rule.
Concurrent army operations against the Moors in the Iberian Peninsula (the Reconquista) and pagan Slavic tribe in northern Europe (the Northern Crusades) were called crusades.
Other church-sanctioned crusades were waged during the 15th century against unorthodox Christian sects, the Byzantine and Ottoman empires, to oppose paganism and heresy, and for political purposes.
In this book, we’ll explore some of the most important crusades everyone should know about. You will learn to understand better why people started them, what drove them to continue, and what ended them. You will learn about the political and religious backgrounds, the fears, hopes, and dreams the leaders and population had, and much more.
