  Finalmente, era arrivato il momento di concludere un’intensa giornata di lavoro, piena di dispiaceri. Una vera e propria maratona per poter fare la mia parte in quel grande ingranaggio che era l`azienda in cui lavoravo, nella quale non si poteva fallire senza danneggiare tutto il resto.  
  Stavo raccogliendo qualche foglio di carta nel mio ufficio, quando sentii quel suono che faceva il computer quando ricevevo una nuova e-mail. Di solito a quell’ora non le controllavo, poiché preferivo essere fresco e riposato; inoltre, quella era stata una giornata impegnativa, perciò era meglio aprirla la mattina seguente. Normalmente, non l`avrei letta nemmeno a casa, dato che cercavo di separare la mia vita professionale da quella privata.
