Over a decade, Fishamble commissioned and called for submissions of tiny plays that reflected major changes in Irish society from 2011-2021. Inviting playwrights to submit plays of less than 600 words, the company produced 50 tiny plays in Tiny Plays for Ireland, 10 tiny plays in Tiny Plays 24/7, and 10 tiny plays in partnership with ESB in Tiny Plays for a Brighter Future. These productions of tiny plays created a patchwork quilt of theatre to reflect the times through which we were living.
