Summary

Far to the south, Orvbel is the global hub of the slave trade. The immensely wealthy King Brun learns of the peasant girl’s existence. He feels only one desire: to acquire her. But during her brief wandering, the teenager has formed a bond of friendship with Saalyn, the most famous free warrior in Helaria. This woman has already confronted the slave-trading city and nearly brought about its downfall. Having just recovered from trials that left her wounded and traumatized, Saalyn has resumed her investigations. Although she is not yet fully healed, she remains a formidable adversary. The king, therefore, must find a way to eliminate her, preferably in a permanent manner. A high-stakes contest begins between Saalyn and Brun, with the future of Deirane hanging in the balance.Sixty years have passed since the war that ended the reign of tyrants. Civilization has managed to rebuild itself on the ruins, despite the persistence of pockets of chaos. Yet most of the continent remains deadly. Living on the edge of the habitable zone, Deirane was an unassuming teenager until a drow noticed her and decided to turn her into a work of art. After he marked her, she was forced to flee her village. However, she found love and safety in the arms of a young farmer. Through him, she built a new family, made new friends, and began a fresh chapter in life. But with her distinctive tattoo, she never went unnoticed. Far to the south, Orvbel, the global hub of the slave trade, came into play. The wealthy King Brun learned of the young peasant’s existence. He became obsessed with one desire: to possess her. During her brief wanderings, however, Deirane had formed a bond with Saalyn, the most renowned free warrior of Helaria. This formidable woman had already clashed with the slaver city and nearly brought about its downfall. Recently recovering from trials that had left her injured and traumatized, Saalyn had only just resumed her investigations. Though not fully healed, she remained a fearsome opponent. The king realized he must find a way to eliminate her, preferably permanently. Thus began a rivalry between Saalyn and Brun, with nothing less than Deirane’s future hanging in the balance.PUBLISHER: TEKTIME

“Please let me know when you would like to make the rejection official." Her words hit me like a ton of bricks and despite her acting like the words she just said were nothing important

"Would you like to do it now?" While my head screams yes, my heart burns begging me to say no. How can I go from never wanting my little mate to feeling so torn up at the idea of her leaving? I always assumed that I would meet her and reject her without a care but now that the reality of the situation is staring me right in the face I know that it won't be easy, not one bit.

Alpha Nicholas is 28, mateless, and has no interest in changing that. This year, it's his turn to host the annual Blue Moon Ball, and the last thing his wolf expects is to find his mate. Even more shocking is that his mate is 10 years younger—and he can’t ignore how his body reacts to her. He tries to fight the bond, but his world unravels when his guards capture two she-wolves running through his territory.

Bonnie has been broken by those closest to her, including her own twin sister. Together with her best friend Lilly, they plan to escape during the Blue Moon Ball, hosted by another pack. But when things go wrong, they’re left uncertain about their future.

When they’re brought to Alpha Nicholas, he faces his little mate again and uncovers secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person. Can Alpha Nicholas stop fighting the bond and accept a mate much younger than him? Will Bonnie want him after feeling the sting of his unofficial rejection? Can they both let go of their pasts, or will fate keep them apart?
