Summary

After a terrible prank gone wrong, three young men, Topher, Michael, and Kenneth find themselves at Raleigh's Prep—a "Juvenile Detention Center for the Delinquent Children of the Fantastically Rich." Basically, juvie for rich kids. The boys think they're going to serve out their time, finish their education, but then, three weeks into their term, they find a mangled body on the practice fields. More bodies follow. With the help of their friends, Marvin Grimm, I Dennis, and the enigmatic Warren Crews, they decide to investigate—inadvertently unleashing the horror that lurks in the woods that surrounds the campus.
A mixture of horror and humor, Raleigh's Prep "is witty and interesting" with "interesting characters, quite a lot of death and gore and some twists and turns." (Amazon Reviewers)

Her poppa's ghost returns to help piece together the life of the Beryle he once knew, but his memory's a little foggy, and any misstep could cause them a world of trouble. Vampire hunter or serial killer? That depends on whether vampires exist . . . Simon Helsing believes the only way to stop a bad guy with fangs is a good guy with a stake. He has devoted his life to ridding the world of vampires. He hunts them, finds their daytime lairs, and pounds a stake through their hearts. Lexi Tarada wants to believe. She's desperate to prove that the strange and impossible can be real. She runs a website for the unexplained and tries to sift through the crazy conspiracy theories to find out what is - or might be - real. Detective Todd Carrow is a skeptic. Necromancer Lesson #1: Never step into a summoning circle with a goat shifter and a candle.
I’m a costume shop owner, not a demon hunter. My life was supposed to be filled with tequila shots and vintage clothing.
But when I accidentally unleash a demon on Kansas City, the Tribunal labels me a walking menace. Then, they give me a two-week ultimatum—send him back to hell or face the consequences. The only problem? I have no idea how to do that.
I’ve got a goat shifter in my corner. I also have a sexy-as-sin enforcer I need to keep at arm’s length and a necromancer offering a crash course in death magic. However, the more powerful I get, the bigger the target on my back becomes.
I’m about to find out who I can trust and who is determined to kill me.
Threading the Bones is the second book in the Kali James series, featuring a reluctant necromancer who finds herself in a world of werewolves, vampires, and ghosts. If you like your urban fantasy with quirky characters, a side of supernatural mystery, and a dose of slow-burn romance, this series is for you.
