In this haunting and vivid ballad, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner weaves a timeless tale of guilt, redemption, and the destructive power of nature. When an old mariner stops a wedding guest to recount the eerie tale of his voyage, the story unfolds like a dark, mesmerizing dream. The mariner, cursed for his reckless act of killing an albatross, finds himself and his crew trapped in a desolate, supernatural world of endless sea and sky. As they battle the elements and face the consequences of their actions, the mariner must come to terms with the grave sins he's committed, while the ocean itself seems to conspire against him.Show book
Under the Big Oak Tree is an intimate spoken-word audiobook that invites listeners into the narratives that shape what it means to be alive. The poems navigate the unexpected, the joyful, the messy, and the fleeting moments in life. Each chapter tiptoes (and sometimes stumbles) into the often-painful beauty of personal growth, touching on themes of dating, family, mental health, heartache, hope, growth, and love. Performed by the author, this narration captures the natural rhythm, pauses, and emotional cadence of the poems as they were meant to be heard. Rooted in free-verse and delivered with a spoken-word flair, the audiobook offers a raw, grounded listening experience that feels personal, present, and alive. This Audiobook Edition features narration only, with no music or sound effects, allowing the words, and their meaning, to stand on their own. Ideal for listeners who connect with reflective poetry, spoken word, and the complications of love.Show book
