The following recording is a discussion between movie star Vivien Leigh, film producer Samuel Goldwyn and British Theatre critic Kenneth Tynan. Vivien Leigh, born Vivian Mary Hartley (November 5, 1913 - July 8, 1967) was a British actress who won the Academy Award for Best Actress twice, for her performances as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind (1939) and Blanche DuBois in the film version of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), a role she had also played on stage in London's West End in 1949. She also won a Tony Award for her work in the Broadway musical version of Tovarich (1963). Samuel Goldwyn (August 27, 1882 (claimed, but most likely July 1879) - January 31, 1974), was a Polish-born American film producer. Thalberg Memorial Award (1947) and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award (1958). Kenneth Peacock Tynan (April 2, 1927- July 26, 1980) was an English theatre critic and writer.

Richard Neutra, an iconic figure of architectural modernity, particularly well-known for his glamourous California houses, had another less visible facet: his concern for social architecture. This book presents Neutra's interest in and contacts with Latin America, paying particular attention to his designs for schools and hospitals in Puerto Rico. The author explores Neutra's connections with Latin American architects through his travels and the importance of his publications in the region. More importantly, she examines the impact these contacts had on Neutra and his later built work in the United States.
The research is based on archival documents and the book includes transcripts of talks and interviews Neutra gave in Rio de Janeiro, Caracas, Lima and Mexico City.
