  समर्थ रामदासस्वामींच्या कार्याबद्दल व त्यांनी निर्मिलेल्या जीवन व्यवहार विषयक साहित्य संपदेबद्दल अनेक विद्वानांनी भाष्य केलेले आहे. समर्थांनी हिंदूत्व जीवन व्यवहार आणि समाज धारणेकरिता लागणारे तत्वज्ञान आपल्या ग्रंथातून विषद केले त्याच प्रमाणे त्यांनी ते स्वतः आचरणातही आणले. मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम प्रभुरामचंद्र हे त्यांचे आदर्श, समर्थांनी बलोपासना व त्यातून सुदृढ समाजनिर्मितीवर भर दिला. अकरा मारुतींची व अकराशे मठांची स्थापना केली. त्यातून एक सामर्थ्यवान संघटन उभे केले. छत्रपती शिवरायांच्या स्वराज्य निर्मितीच्या काळात त्यांनी ह्या संघटनेचा राष्ट्र कार्यार्थ पूरेपूर वापर केला व स्वराज्य निर्मितीस बळ दिले. समर्थांच्या कार्यावर व ग्रंथसंपदेबद्दल भाष्य करणारी डॉ. भास्कर गिरधारी ह्यांची अभ्यासपूर्ण लेखमाला समर्थ विशेषांकात प्रसिद्ध झाली होती. त्याच लेखमालांवर आधारित हा ग्रंथ आहे.

  The Valmiki Ramayana, the 123rd canto describes Lord Ramachandra's journey from Lanka to Ayodhya with Sitamai in the 'Pushpaka' plane. Mahakavi Kalidasa has verbalized this journey in the 13th canto of his epic 'Raghuvansha'. To verify the veracity of the description of this flight which has appeared in both Sergas. Dr. Bhave tracked it from ground and sky. The book contains a description of their experiences and aerial photographs. 
  वाल्मिकी रामायणामध्ये प्रभू रामचंद्रांनी सीतामाईसह लंका ते अयोध्या प्रवास ‘पुष्पक’ विमानाने केल्याचे वर्णन 123 व्या सर्गात आहे. महाकवी कालिदासाने हा प्रवास त्याच्या ‘रघुवंश’ या महाकाव्याच्या 13 व्या सर्गात शब्दबद्ध केला आहे. ह्या विमानप्रवासाचे जे वर्णन दोन्ही सर्गात आले आहे त्याची सत्यासत्यता पडताळून पहाण्यासाठी. डॉ. भावे ह्यांनी जमिनीवरून व आकाशांतून विमानाने त्याचा मागोवा घेतला. त्यांना आलेल्या अनुभवाचे वर्णन व हवाई चित्रण या पुस्तकांत आहे.

It is also spectacular due to the ample amount of lighting that the pair deserves.This book has become readable for readers and curious. 
  'भारतीय मंदिर' म्हणजे आपल्या संस्कृतीचे चिरस्थायी असे महत्त्वाचे रूप होय. त्याच्या बहिरंगाची वर्णने केली जातातच, आता त्याच्या अंतरंगाचा म्हणजे मंदिर रचनेत प्रतीत होणाऱ्या अध्यात्म आणि तत्त्वज्ञानाचा विचार व्हायला पाहिजे, कारण मंदिर स्थापत्याचा विकास त्या अनुरोधाने होत गेल्याचे दिसते. वास्तुब्रह्म ही संकल्पना साकार होईल असे परिणीत रूप खजुराहो येथील मंदिरात आढळते. तर मूर्तीचा विकास समाज परिवर्तन, समाज प्रबोधन आणि सामाजिक अभिसरण यांचा प्रत्यय देणाऱ्या टप्प्यावर पोचला आहे. बिंबब्रह्म म्हणून ओळख पटावी अशा, सिद्धांताधारीत मूर्ती निर्माण झालेल्या आहेतही. श्री उदयन इंदूरकरांच्या प्रस्तुत वाचनीय ग्रंथातील 'मंदिरे आणि मूर्ती' या प्रकरणातील माहिती तेथपर्यंत वाचकांस प्रोत्साहन देणारी ठरते. भरीसभर म्हणून भावविभोर करणाऱ्या शिल्पांचे रसपूर्ण व प्रत्ययकारी वर्णन या ग्रंथात असल्यामुळे तो अधिक चटकदार झाला आहे. जोडीला योग्य ती प्रकाशचित्रे भरपूर प्रमाणात दिल्यामुळे हा प्रेक्षणीयही झाला आहे. वाचक आणि जिज्ञासूंसाठी हा ग्रंथ वाचनीय असा झाला आहे.

  देशाला मिळालेले हे स्वातंत्र्य भारतमातेच्या दोन्ही अंगांना फाळणीच्या असह्य डागण्या देऊनच केवळ मिळाले नाही, तर भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांच्या, दोन्ही समाजांची दोन्ही देशात अदलाबदल करण्याच्या, सूचनेचा अव्हेर केल्यामुळे आता अल्पसंख्याकांची लाजिरवाणी मनधरणी करण्याचा वारसाही घेऊन आले. परिणामतः सीमेवर सतत पाकिस्तानच्या घुसखोरीचा प्रयत्न आणि देशांतर्गत हिंदु समाजाच्या विविध अंगांची छेडछाड, मोडतोड या गोष्टी नित्याच्या होऊन बसल्या. पण या सर्वांपेक्षा वरवर सोज्वळ दिसणारे पण संपूर्ण समाज जीवन पोखरून काढणारे व प्रतिकारासाठी चिवट व किचकट असलेले भीषण संकट 'लव्ह जिहाद' च्या रूपाने समाजापुढे उभे ठाकले आहे. आणि तातडीचे उपाय योजना न केल्यास ते भयंकर अक्राळ- विक्राळ बनण्याची शक्यता आहे.
