श्रीगुरुजी जीवनभर भारतातील तरुणांचे आदर्श आणि प्रेरणास्थान राहिले. 'गुरुजी' हे संबोधनही त्यांना काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थ्यांनीच दिले होते. देशाच्या परिस्थितीचा सामना करण्यासाठी युवकांचीच शक्ती जागृत करावी लागेल, अशी श्रीगुरुजींची धारणा होती. युवाशक्ती हीच देशाची खरी शक्ती, हा दृष्टिकोन ठेवून त्यांनी युवाशक्तीला वेळोवेळी जे मार्गदर्शन केले त्याचे संकलन 'श्रीगुरुजी आणि युवाशक्ती' या पुस्तिकेत करण्यात आले आहे. 
Shri Guruji remained a role model and inspiration for the youth of India throughout his life. The address 'Guruji' was also given to him by the students of Kashi Hindu University. Shri Guruji was of the opinion that the power of the youth has to be awakened to face the situation of the country. With the view that Yuva Shakti is the real strength of the country, his guidance to Yuva Shakti from time to time has been compiled in the booklet 'Shri Guruji and Yuva Shakti'.
