يعُودُ أحمد الشَّهاوي في كتابه الشِّعْرِي هذا إلى الإيقاع – الذي هو أكبرُ من الوزنِ - مُستخدمًا إيقاعاتٍ شعرية تتناسبُ مع حالِ الحُبِّ.. إذْ تُؤكِّدُ النصوصُ أنَّ الكتابةَ الأبقى والأنقى والأصفى والمختلفة هي التي يكُونُ كاتبُها عاليًا في مقامِ العِشق، الذي هو أعلى المراتب وأرقاها. ويستخدمُ الشَّاعر عناصرَ ومفرداتٍ ولغاتٍ وعلاقاتٍ جديدةً في العشقِ، يأتي جميعُها على قَدْر المعشُوق، إذْ يؤمنُ بأنَّ القصيدةَ تعادلُ المرأةَ بوصفها كائنًا تامًّا، ولا تُعبِّرُ فقط عمَّا هو حِسِّيٌّ، بل تذهبُ إلى الرُّوحي وتُعوِّل عليه. وقد استخدم الشَّاعرُ آلةَ الكمان جُزْءًا مُهمًّا ورئيسًا في عنوان كتابه لأنه يدركُ أنَّ الكمان كآلةٍ وتريةٍ أساسية لا يمكنُ الاستغناء عنها أو تبديلها، وهي مُعادِلٌ للمحبوب الذي لا يتحوَّلُ ولا يتغيَّرُ بل يزدادُ تعبيرُهُ عن الحُبِّ، بوصفه كالكمانِ الأحنّ والأرَقّ والمُعبِّر، وله السيادةُ والسُّلطةُ الرُّوحيةُ، كما أنَّ جسدَ الكمانِ في انسيابيته مُماثلٌ لجسدِ المحبُوبِ، وكلاهما يفيضُ بموسيقى نادرةٍ إذا أحْسَنَ العاشِقُ/العازِفُ العزْفَ والَّلعِبَ بطريقةٍ مُحِبَّةٍ وعارِفةٍ.Ver livro
