Summary

الشاعر سميح القاسم كرس كل همه للقضية الفلسطينية وأخلص لهذه القضية حتى أنه قال عن موقفه من التطبيع العربى مع إسرائيل "لو طبع كل العرب سوف يبقى واحد فى الجليل رافضاً للتطبيع هو سميح القاسم".
ورغم اعتقاله المستمر فإنه لم يتنازل عن قضيته بل كتب فيها قصائده التى تشبه طلقات الرصاص.
تتميز قصائده بالضخ الثورى والروح الثائرة وإصابة المعنى من أقصر الطرق فيما يشبه الو مضات والكشف عن التناقض العميق فى بنية الواقع، ولذلك فقد ترجم عدد كبير من قصائده إلى الإنجليزية والفرنسية والتركية والروسية والألمانية واليابانية والأأسبانية واليونانية والإيطالية والتشيكية والفيتنامية والفارسية ولغات أخرى، وحصل من أسبانيا وجائزة البابطين للإبداع الشعرى وجائزة نجيب محفوظ للأدب العربى.
هو شاعر مكثر ومن بين هذه الكثر اخترنا مجموعة من القصائد التى تشبه الدرر.
