  عادل مردان يمتلك لهجةً تهكميّةً خاصّة ، ونبرةُ نزوعٍ تمرديّ ، يكادُ يكون وجوديّاً. يُفصحُ عمّا في دخيلته من غيومٍ دكناء ومن اعتمالاتٍ وردود أفعال إزاءَ واقعٍ حجريٍّ ملتاث يرتفعُ بأسوارِهِ العالية من حوله ليزرعَ في حديقتِهِ أزهاراً سامّة. ويندرُ أن نجدَ لساناً تهكّميّاَ وهي خصيصةٌ يفتقدُ إليها أدبُنا بصورةٍ عامة. على نحوِ ما نجدُهُ عند شاعرِنا. هذا الصوتُ بدعابتِه السوداء التي تعلّمها من السّرياليين قوسٌ مشدودّ نابضٌ ليُفلتَ صرخةً حقيقيّةً أو قهقهةً عالية... ولغتُهُ تجريديّةٌ عارية مسحَ عن وجهِها المكياجَ لكنها دقيقةٌ معبّرةٌ ومأنوسة.....
