Summary

A senior diplomat traumatised by the violent death of his wife moves back to UK with his now fifteen-year-old, greatly distressed daughter to become Professor of International Relations at a new university. A high school teacher in a neighbouring town befriends the girl and remonstrates with her father at his overly protective care of her. A loving relationship develops as the teacher and the girl form a mutually strong bond of love. The book interweaves council debates full of frustration and conflict about renewal of the historic but declining small town of the action. The imminent closure of the local newspaper provides opportunity for caustic comment.

The quiet time of year as settled over Whispering Pines. For months, Sheriff Jayne O’Shea had been looking forward to a little R&R but now she’s not so sure. What’s she supposed to do with herself? Take up knitting?
When a brawl breaks out at the local pub during the Thanksgiving gathering, a patron is critically wounded. Not the kind of distraction Jayne was looking for. There’s a long list of suspects, but she’s fairly certain it was one of the vigilantes who came to save the village from “that lady sheriff who doesn’t know her job.” But it might be someone from the growing group of villagers who aren’t happy with their sheriff’s performance. Or maybe it's someone who's not even on her list.
The one thing Jayne knows for sure is if she doesn’t get a handle on things, it could be time for her to turn in her badge.

Bain Hillridge is new to the Titans and he’s building relationships with his new team, both on and off the ice. If only he could keep his hands off his teammate’s little sister.
I loved playing for the Arizona Vengeance but I’m stoked to be part of the legacy the Pittsburgh Titans is building. A team that has risen from the ashes, I’m eager to help them achieve their goal of winning a championship. I’m also looking forward to becoming part of a new hockey family. A night out with my new mates introduces me to the little sister of our goalie, Drake McGinn, and I’m powerless to resist her.
Keira and I have an instant and insatiable attraction and it doesn’t take long before we find ourselves tangled up in one another. While Drake has declared his sister off limits, I’m not deterred because I always go for what I want. I refuse to heed Drake’s warnings and take great pleasure in goading him every chance I get. It’s become one of my favorite hobbies, outside of making his sister scream my name.
As things with Keira get hotter, feelings start to develop making it a little more complicated than we intended. But a bucket of ice-cold water is tossed on our relationship and we’re forced to reprioritize everything. Neither of us were looking for more than a hot fling but fates get twisted all the time. Faced with tough decisions, Keira and I know that no matter what choices we make, our lives are never going to be the same.

    It's a matter of security.

When the Ring of Fire drags Grantville, West Virginia, back to seventeenth-century Germany, down-time veteran Edgar Neustatter finds himself among the survivors of a unit devastated by the up-time Americans and their Swedish allies. After wintering in Grantville, they return home to find that while they have changed, their village has not. Having glimpsed the promise of a republic ruled by its people rather than lords and tyrants, Neustatter leads his men and their families back to Grantville to establish a new agency: Neustatter's European Security Services. The city from the future counts cowboys and detectives among its heroes—and still needs them.

Join Neustatter, Astrid Schäubin, and NESS as they face desperate refugees, towns on the edge of revolution, and those who want to preserve the old order at all costs, while juggling basic training, modern education, and the day-to-day challenges of living in a boom town. Does NESS have the flexibility, training, and firepower to survive in the new timeline?

A Fairy Princess with no power is married off to the enemy whom she believes killed her brother. But when her new husband offers to help her unlock her magic, she must make a choice between love and revenge… Who ever heard of a fairy princess with no magic? Well, that happens to be my fate. I am Alira Shiningstar of the Royal house of the Seelie Court. I am descended from a long line of powerful Fae, and yet I have no power of my own. I might be forgiven for having no magic, but I have no beauty, either. I am curvy where I should be thin and my hair is dark instead of blonde. I do not look like the other Fae maidens…so why is it that Liath Blackthorn, the Prince of our sworn enemy, the Unseelie Court, wishes to marry me? Liath doesn’t look like a proper Fae either—he is tall and beastly with curving horns and blazing bronze eyes. He tells me that I do have magic—that it is buried inside me. And only he can bring it out. But the things he wants to do to unlock my hidden power leave me hot and trembling. Surely it isn’t right to do such things, even with one’s husband…is it? I don’t know if it is or not—I only know that the touch of my new husband’s hands on my body makes me quiver with need. And inside me I feel a force growing…a shadow that is bigger than both of us. What happens next? You’ll have to read this Enemies to Lovers, He Falls First, Praise K*nk, Who Did This To You, Sex Magic, Dark Fantasy Romance to find out! Author's Spice note--this one gets spicy. Don't say I didn't warn you. : )
