Summary

Vahn, a young but talented Kingsfang, patrols the snowy northern border of his kingdom, envious of his friends finding action and adventure. Caylen, a meek but hopeful cat, works off his debt in service to a cruel innkeeper, yearning to return to the life of healing and service he knew before. 
 
But when a mysterious fanatic from afar—the Dawnbreaker—rises to power and leads an army of cultists on a warpath, his endless ambitions fueled by impossible abilities, Vahn and Caylen's worlds crash together amidst the fire and bloodshed. 
 
By Vahn's sword, Caylen's light, or the love they might come to share, will the dawn finally break, or will standing up for what they believe in cost them everything?
