Summary

The Origin of Rubies is an Indian folktale. A prince goes out to sea and sees rubies floating in the water. He jumps in and is sucked into a vortex. There he meets a beautiful girl. She is trapped there and he helps her escape. The moral of the story is: don't be greedy. Recommended for age 6+.
