Plot: Barzai the Wise, a high priest and prophet greatly learned in the lore of the "gods of earth", or Great Ones, attempts to scale the mountain of Hatheg-Kla in order to look upon their faces, accompanied by his young disciple Atal. Upon reaching the peak, Barzai at first seems overjoyed until he finds that the "gods of the earth" are not there alone, but rather are overseen by the "other gods, the gods of the outer hells that guard the feeble gods of earth!" When a young pair of newlyweds settle down into a small cottage in a quiet village, they look forward to a pleasant, pastoral life of domestic bliss.
The husband, a practical man, dismisses the superstitious maid's tale of an ancient curse about the local church's marble statues, which come to life each year on All Saints' Eve to wreak revenge.
But then, on the fateful night, he discovers that the stone slabs on which the knights rest are empty. Is his young bride in peril?
A gripping tale of suspense and terror which shows a very different side of this famous children's book author, best-known for her Edwardian fantasies.

If you had the chance to bring back a lost loved one, but the cost was the death of an innocent person at your own hand, would you do it?
In the year and a half since Jack Clausen lost his five-year-old daughter, RosaMarie, his life has fallen apart. His marriage is failing, he’s been fired from his job, and his drinking is problematic. Sitting in a local bar on a typical weekday, Jack encounters an old woman who issues a dire warning: “You must be on time and pay your debt.” Later that night in a drunken stupor, Jack ignores three phone calls from his teenage son, Bryson. After learning Bryson was calling him for help but then died from an overdose, Jack decides he cannot live with the guilt and pain of losing two children.
Depressed and despondent, Jack steps off a platform into an oncoming commuter train. At the moment before impact, someone grabs him from behind and pulls him away from danger. His rescuer is a small person with unusual features who offers Jack a way to bring his daughter and son back, but there is a high price to pay. When Jack agrees to the deal but then refuses to pay his debt, events spiral out of control, leading to series of different realities, each worse than the one he originally tampered with.

Lancelot Alexander Jnr was at the crossroads of being awake and falling asleep as his partner in his stage magic act Dreams and Nightmares, Zac was about to put him into the zigzag man apparatus during an evening performance.
"Hey, sleepy head wakes up," said Zac sensing Lance was tired.
"I'm so tired," Lance said, "I'll try to stay awake."
"I don't want to hurt you," said Zac.
"I don't want to be hurt either," said Lance climbing into the box.
The moment he went into the box he fell asleep mentally.
He awoke screaming when Zac inserted the first blade.
    It startled and worried Zac.
"Bring the curtains down," Zac shouted and the curtains fell.
One stage ran a gaggle of backstage staff.
"Are you alright, Jnr?" asked Zac.
"I'm fine, I just had a vision,'' said Lance.
"Oh what did you see?" asked Zac.
A man with 3 eyes killing a woman in a dreamlike place," said Lance looking traumatized as he was being released from the stage trick by stagehands.
"Tell the audience the show is over, Kel," Zac told the stage manager.
"Ok," said the stage manager sensing a problem.
"Come with me, Jnr," said Zac making a wormhole appear in front of them they stepped into it.
