Summary

In "Summa Theologica," Thomas Aquinas meticulously explores the intersections of faith and reason, producing a compendium of Christian theology that remains foundational to Western philosophy. Written in a systematic question-and-answer format, the work addresses the nature of God, the moral implications of human actions, and the mysteries of salvation. Aquinas employs logic and Aristotelian philosophy to articulate concepts of natural law and ethics, making profound contributions to scholasticism during the 13th century, a period marked by intellectual revival and theological inquiry within the Church. Thomas Aquinas, a Dominican friar and theologian, aimed to resolve the tension between faith and philosophical reasoning in his era, characterized by growing interest in Aristotelian thought. His academic journey, from the University of Naples to his time in Paris, profoundly shaped his understanding of metaphysics and ethics. Influenced by spiritual mentors and his own contemplative experiences, Aquinas sought to present a comprehensive theological framework that could serve both the academic realm and the devout believer. "Summa Theologica" is an indispensable text for anyone seeking to grasp the philosophical underpinnings of Christian theology and moral philosophy. Its rigorous approach to theological inquiry invites readers to engage deeply with crucial questions concerning existence, purpose, and divine law, making it essential reading for scholars and laypersons alike.

Neem Karoli Baba known to his followers as Maharaj-ji - was a great Hindu guru, mystic and devotee of Lord Hanuman. He is very well known outside India for being the spiritual master of a number of prominent Americans who traveled to India in the 1960s and 70s, including spiritual teachers Ram Dass, Bhagavan Das, and musicians Krishna Das and Jai Uttal. His ashrams are in Kainchi, Vrindavan, Rishikesh, Shimla, Neem Karoli village near Khimasepur in Farrukhabad, Bhumiadhar, Hanumangarhi, Delhi in India and in Taos, New Mexico. Maharaji was a lifelong adept of bhakti yoga, and encouraged service to others (seva) as the highest form of unconditional devotion to God.

There can be no biography of him. Facts are few, stories many. He seems to have been known by different names in many parts of India, appearing and disappearing through the years. His non-Indian devotees of recent years knew him as Neem Karoli Baba, but mostly as “Maharajji” – a nickname so commonplace in India that one can often hear a tea vendor addressed thus. Just as he said, he was "nobody". He gave no discourses; the briefest, simplest stories were his teachings. Usually, he sat or lay on a wooden bench wrapped in a plaid blanket while a few devotees sat around him. Visitors came and went; they were given food, a few words, a nod, a pat on the head or back, and they were sent away.

Pursuing Without Validation: Validation Is a Counterfeit Crown
    By Davel Daverman
I don’t need a round of applause to walk in what God already approved. This book is for the woman who’s done shrinking, done second-guessing, and done waiting for people to co-sign her calling.
Pursuing Without Validation is a mindset shift, a spiritual cleanse, and a divine reminder that the need to be validated is the very thing keeping you stuck.
In this book, I break down how to:
Recognize the silent grip of people-pleasing
Let go of the need to be understood by people who aren’t assigned to you
Stop performing for acceptance and start building from obedience
Heal from rejection, abandonment, and identity confusion
Pursue your next level without fear, comparison, or delay
You don’t need their approval to be anointed. God already gave you the green light. Go build, Go launch, Go become in God's timing.  Those who misunderstand you don’t get to define you. This is the push you didn’t know you needed. You will no longer water yourself down for people who can’t handle the fullness of your assignment.
Pursuing Without Validation is your permission slip to walk heavy, speak up, and take up the space you were born to dominate.

To be in Christ is to do his work. To do God's work is to "believe in him whom He hath sent."
In EJ Waggoner's sweeping overview of the history of God's people, God reveals as far back as the Old Testament the same gospel which Christians believe today. From Abraham to today's reader, all who believe are under the everlasting covenant.
The author had a vision of "Christ crucified... and to me was revealed for the first time in my life the fact that God loved me, and that Christ gave Himself for me personally. It was all for me." According to Waggoner, one line runs through the Bible - God's everlasting covenant.
Share in the company of the great patriarchs and prophets as God reveals the blessed hope of all Christians to them who were willing to be used for his glory.
The same line that runs through the Bible will now be made visible - God's everlasting covenant between Himself and you.
