Summary

Kraken always felt different from her fellow tribe mates. When a secret is discovered about her at the Wave Festival, her greatest fears are realized and she meets a dark fate -- banishment from her tribe and the only home she has ever known.  Alone and afraid, Kraken is thrust into the wildness to fend for herself and comes to learn of a dark force that threatens all the tribes.  Mustering her courage, she runs toward the danger and the darkness intent on protecting those she loves.  Will the darkness take over and destroy the fractured tribes, or will Kraken rise to the challenge and restore unity again?
