Summary

Eizo’s back from the capital, Diana has permanently joined the family, and requests just keep piling up at the forge! First, Helen asks Eizo to sharpen her twin blades, and then Camilo commissions a custom rapier—one made of mithril. Eizo struggles to master this difficult ore, but the final product is sharper and more powerful than anything he’s ever forged. However, this is frightening to Eizo, who doesn’t want to see anyone harmed, and he finds himself agonizing over the bloody implications of his craft. As he wrestles with this, a new face appears on his doorstep: Lidy the elf! She brings along a shattered mithril greatsword, and asks Eizo to reforge the fragments and restore the blade. Can Eizo steel his resolve and nail the repair, or will the sword’s magic prove to be too much for a humble blacksmith?

In moments of profound reflection, I found myself immersed in a timeless tale that resonates deeply with the essence of "Five Good Years." This book delves into the intricate tapestry of women's lives, particularly during the pivotal years between 30 and 35, where dreams, societal expectations, and biological realities intertwine.
Through the lens of a woman from biblical times, who endured twelve years of isolation due to affliction, "Five Good Years" illuminates the modern woman's struggle with fertility pressures and societal expectations. It seamlessly weaves together ancient wisdom and contemporary narratives, offering a beacon of hope and resilience to those navigating life's intricate pathways.
As you journey through the pages of this book, my deepest wish is for you to discover solace in the realization that your worth and journey transcend societal norms and biological timelines. "Five Good Years" is not just a story; it's a testament to the courage, wisdom, and intentional living that defines us all. May it inspire you to embrace your unique journey and find joy in every moment that shapes your life.

This narrative is about a young woman, Sherry; she's a smart and crisp advertising supervisor employed by Silverstone Advertising Agency. She became captivated by a computer hologram while napping at her desk at work. When at first, she brushed the experience off as a revelation of her imagination, then later realized that the mystical character may not be out of her imagination at all. After months of communicating with the mysterious hologram, it was evident that her behavior changed; and consequently, these changes were revealed by her absences from work. The employees became suspicious of her secretiveness and strange behavior and of her unusual outburst. Sherry had that far-away look in her eyes. Her well-kept secret started to affect her personal relationships. She avoided her fiancé’ While communicating with the hologram his vernacular suddenly changed in the rapidity of articulation with extreme preciseness revealing that this entity was not of this earth. The hologram answered many of Sherry’s questions. He explained that she was chosen to be visited by him. “An entity from another Universe.” Then explained his universal explanation of, Religion, Science, Parallel Universe, Quantum Physics, Mental Telepathy, and Mind Transference, revealing the reality of Life on other planets. To allow so young and delicate a girl to tramp England aimlessly in search of some vague and secret information which seemed to be her erratic father's object, was, we decided, an utter impossibility; therefore, following that night of our first meeting at Helpstone, Burton and his daughter remained our guests for a week, and, after many consultations and some little economies, we were at last successful in placing Mabel at school, a service for which we later received her heartfelt thanks. ...That the precious document, or whatever it was, sewn up in the wash-leather which the dead man had so carefully guarded through all those years was now missing was, in itself, a very suspicious circumstance, while Mabel's vague but distinct apprehensions, which she either would not or could not define, now aroused my suspicions that Burton Blair had been the victim of foul play.
