Sinopse

Salesforce business analysis skills are in high demand, and there are scant resources to satisfy this demand. This practical guide for business analysts contains all the tools, techniques, and processes needed to create business value and improve user adoption.

The Salesforce Business Analyst Handbook begins with the most crucial element of any business analysis activity: identifying business requirements. You’ll learn how to use tacit business analysis and Salesforce system analysis skills to rank and stack all requirements as well as get buy-in from stakeholders. Once you understand the requirements, you’ll work on transforming them into working software via prototyping, mockups, and wireframing. But what good is a product if the customer cannot use it? To help you achieve that, this book will discuss various testing strategies and show you how to tailor testing scenarios that align with business requirements documents. Toward the end, you’ll find out how to create easy-to-use training material for your customers and focus on post-production support – one of the most critical phases. Your customers will stay with you if you support them when they need it!

By the end of this Salesforce book, you’ll be able to successfully navigate every phase of a project and confidently apply your new knowledge in your own Salesforce implementations.

Silicon for microchips; manganese for batteries; titanium for missiles.

The moon contains a wealth of natural resources. So, as the Earth’s supplies have begun to dwindle, it is no surprise that the world’s superpowers and wealthiest corporations have turned their eyes to the stars. As this new Space Race begins, A.C. Grayling asks: who, if anyone, owns the moon? Or Mars? Or other bodies in near space? And what do those superpowers and corporations owe to Planet Earth and its inhabitants as a whole?

From feudal common land, through the rules of the sea, to the vast, nationless expanse of Antarctica, Grayling explores the history of the places which no one, and therefore everyone, owns. Examining the many ways this so-called terra nullius has fallen victim to ‘the tragedy of the commons’ – the tendency for communal resources to be exploited by a few individuals for personal gain at the expense of everyone else – Who Owns the Moon? puts forward a compelling argument for a bold new global consensus, one which recognises and defends the rights of everyone who lives on this planet.

The ear, nose, and throat (ENT) are interconnected structures that perform essential functions such as hearing, balance, respiration, and vocalization. Their anatomical complexity allows them to work together efficiently, contributing to overall health and communication.
The ear is divided into three main sections: the outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. The outer ear consists of the auricle (pinna) and the external auditory canal, which collect and direct sound waves toward the tympanic membrane (eardrum). The middle ear houses the ossicles—the malleus, incus, and stapes—which amplify sound vibrations and transmit them to the inner ear. The inner ear contains the cochlea, a spiral-shaped structure that converts sound waves into electrical impulses sent to the brain via the auditory nerve. The inner ear also includes the vestibular system, which regulates balance through the semicircular canals and otolithic organs that detect head movements and spatial orientation.
The nose serves both respiratory and olfactory functions. It is structurally divided into the external nose and the internal nasal cavity. The external nose consists of bone and cartilage, while the nasal cavity is lined with mucosa and separated by the nasal septum. Inside the nasal cavity, the nasal conchae (turbinates) filter, warm, and humidify incoming air. The olfactory epithelium, located in the upper nasal cavity, contains specialized receptors that detect odors and transmit sensory information to the brain through the olfactory nerve. Additionally, the paranasal sinuses—frontal, maxillary, ethmoid, and sphenoid—contribute to voice resonance, mucus production, and the reduction of skull weight.
