ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"Fable" by Adrienne Young tells the story of Fable, the daughter of the most powerful trader in the Strait. After being abandoned on a dangerous island by her father, she must learn to survive using the lessons her mother taught her. Her goal is to leave the island, find her father, and claim her place by his side.

Fable seeks passage off the island and onto her father's ship. She finds an unlikely ally in a young merchant named West. As Fable navigates the risks associated with her father's activities, she discovers that West is not who he seems to be. Fable and West fight together against dangers. The book explores themes of family, trust, and survival.
