Sinossi

“The Willow Walk” is a book by Sinclair Lewis an American writer. In 1930, he became the first writer from the United States to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature.
“The Willow Walk” is a short story by Sinclair Lewis.
“From the drawer of his table Jasper Holt took a pane of window glass. He laid a sheet of paper on the glass and wrote, “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party.” He studied his round business-college script, and rewrote the sentence in a small finicky hand, that of a studious old man. Ten times he copied the words in that false pinched writing. He tore up the paper, burned the fragments in his large ash tray and washed the delicate ashes down his stationary washbowl. He replaced the pane of glass in the drawer, tapping it with satisfaction. A glass underlay does not retain an impression.”

"The Star-Child" by the Irish author Oscar Wilde, first published in 1891, is a fantasy story about a handsome boy who for the first ten years of his life believes that he is truly the son of a star. As a result, he believes himself to be superior to everyone else and becomes vain, arrogant and cruel. When his real mother, a beggar woman, comes to the village where he lives, he wants nothing to do with her and mocks her for her ugliness. As punishment for his cruelty, he becomes monstrously ugly himself. He remains so until he shows kindness to others, even at the risk of his own life.

Oscar Wilde (October 16, 1854 - November 30, 1900) was an Irish poet and playwright. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of the most popular playwrights in London in the early 1890s. He is best remembered for his epigrams, plays, short stories, and his novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.

    Title: The Tomb
    Author: H. P. Lovecraft
    Narrator: Jonathan Dunne
Original Publication: 1917 (first published 1922)
    Public Domain: Yes
Series Placement: Number 26 in the Timeless Terrors series
    Description:
The Tomb by H. P. Lovecraft is a tale of ancestral obsession, forbidden curiosity, and the thin veil separating memory from madness. It follows Jervas Dudley, a solitary dreamer fascinated by an ancient mausoleum belonging to the long-dead Hyde family. Drawn by an irresistible pull, he becomes consumed by the mystery of the tomb — and by the eerie sense that his destiny is entwined with the dead within.
Through Lovecraft’s early mastery of gothic atmosphere and psychological unease, The Tomb explores themes of hereditary memory, morbid fixation, and the haunting persistence of the past. What begins as mere curiosity descends into a dreamlike horror, where identity and sanity unravel among the shadows of the grave.
Narrated by Amazon bestselling horror author Jonathan Dunne, this performance evokes the dark romanticism and creeping dread of Lovecraft’s vision — a descent into the spectral corridors of the mind. While the text resides in the public domain, this narration is an original work and copyright © 2025 Jonathan Dunne.
Part of Timeless Terrors, a series devoted to reviving the classic works of horror and the uncanny, The Tomb bridges gothic tradition and cosmic dread — a haunting meditation on the lure of the past and the peril of those who cannot let the dead rest.
Listeners should prepare for a story where fascination becomes fate, where dreams trespass upon death, and where the past itself refuses to stay buried.

Where Jerry Snyder goes, trouble follows. Someone tried to kill him and his bride on their honeymoon in the Virgin Islands. And moving there permanently is proving to be anything but tranquil.
First, he’s working for the secretive Armstrong Organization - a group dedicated to hunting terrorists, drug smugglers, and the nastiest criminals since Blackbeard.
Second, his partner is DJ Martin, a one-legged Airborne vet, who has the temperament of a croc with a toothache. DJ has never met a nose he couldn’t break, and he’s tested plenty of them.
When a body washes ashore at an island resort in Culebra, a family desperate for help turns to Jerry and DJ. Sailing the Caribbean looking for answers, their course proves deadlier than either man bargained for. And when Jerry’s past dealings appear on the horizon, the two men have to find common ground to overcome a cunning, powerful enemy with a desire more dangerous than murder.
