There is no definition of artificial intelligence (AI), but several. Ia is to make computers think like humans or that are as intelligent as humans. Thus, the ultimate goal of the research on this topic is to develop a machine that can simulate some human skills and to replace them with some activities.
Artificial intelligence is part of the Computer Science studies. The programs use the same language of conventional systems, but with a different logic. There are several ways to do this program. In some cases, the intelligent system operates with a simple logic - if the question is x, y is the answer. In other cases, such as studies on neural networks, the machine tries to reproduce the functioning of human neurons, where the information will be transmitted from one cell to another and combined with other data to arrive at a solution.
There are several branches of study in intelligent systems, each one dedicated to a particular aspect of human behavior. For example, some robots study and worry about the driving part. Other areas have addressed speech, with the goal of creating machines that can talk, understand the language and their meanings. The professor also claims that all research is highly specialized, and therefore no one is engaged in building a machine that reproduces the human being in its entirety - as in science fiction movies. Also, for this reason, robot production is very unlikely to become more intelligent than humans and can be "rebel". Many experts do not see the possibility of Android similar to man. There are studies that try to make the computer be able to learn, but even so, he still not aware of the world. Follow this e-book some of the major and controversial issues around the Artificial Intelligence.

In the 1960's, California's Yosemite Valley was the center of the rock-climbing universe. Young nonconformists—many of them the finest rock climbers in the world—channeled their energy toward the largely untouched walls and cracks. Soon climbers from around the globe were coming to Camp 4—gathering spot for the creators of the Golden Age of Yosemite climbing—to see what all the fuss was about.

Climber and author Steve Roper spent most of ten years living in the Yosemite Valley with its intriguing inhabitants. Camp 4 is his take on the era's top climbers and the influences behind their achievements. The text is full of stories both hilarious and revealing about the likes of bolt-disdaining Royal Robbins; fun-loving, big-wall expert Warren Harding; free-climber Frank Sacherer; multi-talented Chuck Pratt; master craftsman Yvon Chouinard; and ill-fated Mark Powell. Roper also tips his hat to the elder statesmen of the 1930s and 1940s who pioneered early, important climbs in the valley.

Camp 4 looks at the most significant climbs, and the most riveting controversies of a legendary era. Camp 4 is the definitive history of Yosemite climbing during this period.

"The book that defined how the world works."

In The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, Isaac Newton didn't just explain how things move; he provided the mathematical proof for the mechanics of the entire universe. Moving beyond the speculative theories of his predecessors, Newton used rigorous geometric proofs to establish his Three Laws of Motion. From the falling of an apple to the orbits of the planets, he demonstrated that the same physical forces apply everywhere. This masterwork transformed the study of nature from a branch of philosophy into the modern discipline of physics, forever changing our understanding of space, time, and force.

The Law of Universal Gravitation: Newton's most famous contribution within these pages is the derivation of the inverse-square law of gravity. He proved that every mass in the universe attracts every other mass, providing the first coherent explanation for why the moon orbits the Earth and why the planets remain in their paths around the sun.

A Triumph of Mathematical Logic: Though Newton had developed calculus (which he called "fluxions"), he wrote the Principia using classical geometric proofs to ensure his contemporaries could follow his revolutionary logic. The result is a work of staggering intellectual density that remains the gold standard for scientific inquiry.

Why It Is Essential: To own the Principia is to own the spark of the Scientific Revolution. It is the bridge between the ancient world and the space age, a testament to the power of the human mind to decode the hidden laws of nature.

What do stories about humpback whales protecting a biologist from a shark, a pride of lions rescuing a girl from kidnappers, gorillas working together to dismantle poacher snares, a parrot warding off an attacker in a park, a chimpanzee consoling a human, and an elephant trying to rescue a baby rhino tell us about animal nature? And what might they suggest about our very own human nature?

Until just a few decades ago, there were only a few animals reported to behave empathetically and altruistically. More recently, the list of species who have been observed behaving in compassionate, helpful, and caring ways has grown exponentially, ranging from rats to elephants.

Rescued by a Whale presents dozens of astonishing and heart-warming stories about animals, such as chickens, horses, dolphins, and wolves, who engage in acts of helpful kindness. During a time in history when studies show that human empathy is decreasing, our knowledge about animal empathy is increasing. These true tales of heroism, kindness, and compassion suggest that we have far more in common with other animals than we once believed and provocatively suggest that what’s best about our human natures just might be our animal natures.
