Available for the very first time in English, this ‘lost media’ episode of Agaton Sax sees the Swedish detective leave his native land once again, this time travelling in style to experience the glitz and glamour of London.
Our super sleuth must decipher the mystery of a sticky-fingered thief whose calamitous crimes see him targeting a group of billionaires and their mountains of money. Flown via private jet to a castle in England to catch our corrupt culprit, Sax enlists the aid of his trusted friend and Scotland Yard professional, Inspector Lispington.
But will the duo discover who is behind the baffling billionaires’ bankruptcy? Or have the intrepid investigators finally met their match?
The Agaton Sax series of books were first published in Sweden, later being translated into English and printed with illustrations by much-loved artist Quentin Blake (perhaps best known for his work on the books of Roald Dahl). The English translations became immensely popular, achieving the status of the most re-issued mystery & detective series in the history of Nordic children's literature.
Now, for the first time, Oak Tree Books is proud to publish the entire Agaton Sax series in audio format, newly translated for the next generation and expertly narrated by Barnaby Eaton-Jones.

    THE GALACTIC FEDERATION OF LIGHT
Book 6 of 6 The god seed
This is the last book in the series and the plot is as follows:
The Federation detects a dying star's encoded signal leading to the God-Seed—a cosmic artifact believed to hold the secrets of creation.
Discovery & Division: Elurians revere it as divine. Kessari seek to exploit its power.
    Zorathians suspect a precursor trap.
    The Awakening:
Inside the God-Seed, the team triggers an assessment protocol. The artifact is revealed as the "Arbiter"—a failsafe designed to reset civilizations deemed corrupt.
    Judgment Day:
The precursors emerge, condemning the Federation’s history of war and infighting. Through impassioned appeals, the team argues for their potential to evolve.
    Verdict:
The precursors spare the galaxy but leave the God-Seed active as a warning. The Federation must prove its worth—or face annihilation in the next cycle.
Final Hook: *The precursors withdraw, but their prison-homeworld looms in the void. The Federation’s true test has just begun.*
I do hope you enjoy this sixth instalment, and it's only $3.
the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a fast paced modern beat that gets you ready for the out of this world story. The closing music ends the tale on a dark foreboding beat anticipating the next instalment.
The story itself runs to about 14 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think.

Hugh Lofting’s The Story of Doctor Dolittle is a timeless tale that has delighted readers of all ages for over a century. Published in 1920, this charming story introduces us to the peculiar yet endearing Dr. John Dolittle, whose love for animals transcends the ordinary bounds of human-animal relationships. With the aid of his unique ability to speak the languages of animals, Dr. Dolittle embarks on adventures that are as whimsical as they are heartwarming.
It is also important to consider the context of the time in which The Story of Doctor Dolittle was written. The book reflects certain perspectives and cultural attitudes that were common in the early 20th century but may feel outdated or problematic today. We have the opportunity to engage with the story thoughtfully, appreciating its merits while critically examining the parts that no longer align with modern values.
