For eons, the Zodiac Warriors have fought in secret the evils that threaten Earth: aliens, monsters, even depraved humans. So when their seer predicts a coming calamity these fighters are more than ready to protect humanity. First up is Scorpio who is tasked with locating an artifact in Antarctica. A simple mission, except the doctor who's supposed to help him find it has no idea what he's talking about.

Rebecca doesn't know what to think of the dude who suddenly appears—naked in subzero temperatures. He claims to be some kind of astral hero. Ridiculous, and yet, there is something not quite human about Scorpio. As for his conviction she can lead him to a relic that will save the world? He must be smoking some epic astral dust. To her surprise, though, the glacier she's been chipping at is hiding the entrance to a mysterious cave. What they discover inside blows her scientific mind. Almost as much as Scorpio blows her usually quiet libido. However, before Rebecca can come to terms with the fact Zodiac Warriors truly are magical, she's betrayed by her employer. Turns out, she wasn't contracted by some do-good climate group, but by villains who steal the relic! Can Scorpio recover the artifact before it's too late? And if he does, will this bachelor decide he's ready to relinquish the single life for love?

October 1939—What happens when you run from danger… and into a trap?
After the Anschluss, Austria becomes a place its citizens don’t recognize—especially its Jewish citizens. Whispers ripple through Jewish communities—whispers about a chalet where a woman protects Jewish children from discovery. She’ll keep them safe, fed, and far away from Nazis.
Parents are forced to make horrific decisions. Send their children away to safety, possibly never seeing them again, or keep their families together and risk their children’s lives?
Hans Hartmann arrives at the chalet with a chip on his shoulder and a little girl in tow. He found Grete waiting at the train station. Alone. But life at Chalet Versteck feels more ominous than the streets of Vienna. Children sometimes vanish, and before Hans can figure out what’s happening, a high-ranking officer appears—and is killed.
It’s a race to find out who killed the man and get himself (and probably that pesky Grete) out!
A Ransomed GreteĀ is the bridge book between the 1920s and 1940s Ever After Mysteries, combining fairy tales with mysteries.

An unwanted pregnancy leads a bright young woman into a life she could never have imagined. Unique, sad and sometimes darkly humorous, ā€œA Grave above Groundā€ is a beggar's tale. It is about how easily life can change; escape from persecution and life as a refugee and homeless person, but also the beauty and limits experienced with the healing power of love and care. Its about reconciliation with loss and pain as well as awakening and closure. We are in Spain as we follow the life and thoughts of Mara, a Romanian beggar who sits, day after day, on the pavement outside a bank in Madrid. Little by little her past takes shape, her tragic past, as she reflects on the members of her family, as she describes the village of her childhood, the hardships of Ceausescu's Roumania, her relationships - one of which was her downfall. She takes the reader through her happy but troubled youth, her dysfunctional family, her loves and follies, an unwanted pregnancy, the sordid kidnapping of her baby by the Romanian authorities and the fruitless search for the infant in the Bucharest orphanages. We experience her flight from Roumania, her abuse as a refugee and illegal immigrant that throws her life into a sad downward spiral and near psychological collapse. After years of begging and loneliness, fate offers her a chance and rescues her through a ā€˜flu epidemic, when she lands comatose in the caring environment of a small Madrid hospital. After all this, can she find the strength to escape from the depths into which she has fallen? Mara's is a tale of sadness, of a woeful start to life and an ambiguous ending.
