Summary

When Warin, a sorcerer, needs a large amount of coins to rescue his sister from her abductor, he chooses to abduct someone himself. And he selects the man he has been lusting after ever since sharing a secret, sensual moment at court months earlier -- Benedict, the beautiful and illegitimate son of the king.
At first, Benedict is reluctant to give into forbidden desires, but he cannot resist the enigmatic sorcerer's pull. Yet when he surrenders to his lust, he's also not sure whether it's of his own free will or because of a spell Warin cast on him.
As the men grow closer, however, they realize that when the ransom is paid, Benedict must be released and Warin must flee from punishment. Will they be able to end their passionate affair and separate, or will they fight to stay together, even if it means facing the king's wrath?

Chase Crayford and Simon Lobb are boyfriends who accidentally travel to the year 3022. The United States of America is no longer the same country it was a thousand years ago. Asteroids have changed many things. Instead of cities or towns, there are safe zones, checkpoints, and wastelands overrun with dangerous mutated plants.
The two men must survive long enough to return to where they've come from. Fortunately, they receive help from Brody Fisher, Mason Kirk, and Troy Whittemore, three hunters who work for the Search and Rescue Association.
Feelings develop and blossom among them, but Simon and Chase can't remain in the future. At least not indefinitely. The situation becomes even more complicated when they discover some plants have evolved further, making them much more dangerous.
Can they successfully deal with the plants while they fight for their love and relationship?

    1968 New York City
News about the war might be keeping Patrick up at night—news in general might be keeping Patrick up at night—but he's doing fine. He's sure of it. He gets to spend his days selling books in the gayest neighborhood on the East Coast and his nights merrily sleeping his way through the rare book community. But when he takes in a drifter who seems to be hiding something, and his best friend and her newborn move into the apartment upstairs, his life gets turned on its head.
A sleepy little bookstore should be the perfect place for Nathaniel to lie low, waiting for his past to catch up with him, but it turns out Dooryard Books is full of political radicals and anti–war agitators. If the FBI isn't actively surveilling this place, it will be. Nathaniel should go anywhere else. The last thing he expects is to like these subversives. There's a grieving folk musician and her baby—a demon of a child who will only sleep if Nathaniel, of all people, holds her. There's a pair of rabble–rousing teenagers who, upsettingly, seem to be right about everything. And then there's Patrick, who can't walk past anyone who needs his help—and who is perplexingly determined to help Nathaniel.
As the world balances on the precipice of something new and scary and maybe even hopeful, Patrick needs to decide what he's willing to risk for this chaotic new community he's accidentally created. And Nathaniel needs to figure out whether he has a place in this messy, flawed world—and whether he can believe he deserves it.

I don't understand why the hospital director has insisted that Siena Collins work in oncology.

She is a spoiled brat, unreliable, and causes too much trouble in a department where we must look into the eyes of death every day.

To make matters worse, she can't even touch or talk to patients. She is still in medical school and considering quitting altogether.

Her "job" basically consists of bringing coffee, making a few photocopies, and getting in the way. Yeah, I guess her most significant contribution is getting in everyone's way all day.

    I wish I could take Arya's advice and tell her to . . .

But there's one small problem I forgot to mention: the hospital is named Collins Memorial after her grandfather, and her father is the big boss.

So here I am, trying to save lives while dealing with her immature attitude and tight jeans.
