Today, the doctrine of the beatific vision has been woefully forgotten within the church and its theology.
Yet, throughout history Christians have always held that the blessed hope of heaven lies in seeing and being in the presence of God, of beholding the beatific vision. With lucidity and breadth, Parkison reintroduces the beatific vision and affirms its centrality for the life of the church today. Parkison argues for the beatific vision's biblical foundations and reminds us—through close readings of theologians such as Anselm of Canterbury, Thomas Aquinas, Dante, Gregory Palamas, John Calvin, and Jonathan Edwards—of the doctrine's historical and contemporary significance. The beatific vision is about seeing God, and as Christians have acknowledged across the tradition, seeing God is our ultimate end.

    Preaching from the Cross -...

Much has been written about the life, ministry, and theology of the apostle Paul. But what about Paul specifically as a preacher? How did he understand his commission from the risen Lord Jesus to preach the gospel, and how did he put it into practice? Further, what lessons can contemporary preachers learn from Paul about the theology and practice of preaching to help them be more faithful messengers of God's Word?

As a leading Pauline scholar and practicing pastor, Frank Matera has considered these questions, and he offers this short, accessible book to pastors and students as wise and helpful guidance. Matera explores a Pauline theology of preaching, focusing on three main questions: Why did Paul preach? What did he preach? And how did he preach? He also explores Paul's preaching as the ministry of the new covenant. He identifies and explores seven themes of Paul's preaching, which in turn offer key practical insights for preaching in a Pauline way. Listeners are encouraged to "preach from the cross," making the crucified Christ their focus and their model, demonstrating what they preach by their own cruciform lives.

What if consciousness is not created by the brain, but the field from which all reality emerges?
What if observation itself shapes the world you experience, collapsing infinite potential into form?
What if the discoveries of quantum physics are not new at all—but a scientific echo of ancient esoteric knowledge?
With this audiobook you will discover how thought, emotion, and attention interact with energy; how inner observation transforms perception; and how self-remembering—long taught by esoteric schools—finds confirmation in the laws of quantum science.
Inside this book you will learn:
    • How the “observer effect” mirrors self-remembering — and why awareness itself is the true creative act.
    • Why the zero-point field is the physical counterpart of meditation — where stillness and infinite energy coexist.
    • How consciousness behaves as the fifth state of matter, beyond solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.
    • Why emotional energy is alchemical fuel — and how conscious suffering converts vibration into light.
    • Why synchronicity is not coincidence but feedback from a conscious universe responding to alignment.
    • How Gurdjieff’s “inner laboratory” parallels modern physics in transforming energy through attention.
    • What quantum entanglement reveals about shared awareness and the unity of all beings.
    • How time, memory, and recurrence operate like quantum loops, echoing the eternal return.
    • Why awakening is a negentropic process — the reorganization of energy through understanding.
    ... and much more!

Demonic oppression is a very real spiritual phenomenon, yet it remains a terrifying and misunderstood subject for many Christians. What does the Bible say? Can demons exert power over Christians? Can a Christian be possessed? How do you know if a problem is psychological or spiritual?

In this revised edition of Defeating Dark Angels, Dr. Charles H. Kraft, a retired evangelical seminary professor and experienced deliverance minister, reveals everything you need to know. With clarity and biblical insight, he explains why and how dark forces come against God's people; our authority as Christians over demons; how to resist the influence of demons; how to break their hold on the lives of others; and the need for continued healing and care after deliverance through counseling.

Weaving practical application with firsthand accounts of demonic activity in the lives of real people, this is your complete guide to defeating dark angels and ministering God's freedom to others.
