Summary

What happens when one embarks a journey down the cobblestoned paths of their own memories? What happens when they have to face the reality of ghosts past and of people assumed to be forgotten? If We Ever Meet Again is the story of Naina, ‘the girl with a mustache’ and her ‘bhai-friend’ Rehan, which is narrated by Lisa, a musician who happens to be the executor of Rehan’s Will. After years of turmoil and confusion and finally at the passing of Rehan, Lisa meets Naina in Budapest, where the two undertake a journey down memories past, which could be best described as a feeling of saudade, as they try to find out the reasons behind Rehan’s death.
