Summary

In Poodle Stew, eccentric private eye Hunter B. Phillips will take any job to keep the lights on. Except - Divorce snooping.  
When a suburban oddball hires him for a bizarre errand, Hunter’s path crosses that of his old partner, homicide detective Lattish. 
A young woman is found murdered in a blind alley, her body mutilated with no clear motive. As Lattish searches for answers, Hunter stumbles onto the scene and finds more than a crime — he finds the ghosts of his own past. 
This darkly humorous, hard-boiled tale follows two weary men trying to make sense of death, friendship, and the city that never stops grinding them down.
