Summary

Tea company owner Tate Blackwood isn't just in search of the perfect persimmon-flavored tea; he's also looking for a good time. Many one-night stands are his thing. There's no way he'll have a boyfriend, or fall in love with another man.
Enter Paul Persimmon, the green-eyed owner of a little bookshop in downtown Channing, Pennsylvania. Tate thinks the man is honest, warm-hearted, and uninhibited. When Tate enters the bookshop, his life takes a quick turn. Although Persimmon insists on a date with Tate, Tate thinks another one-night stand will happen.
Is Tate too set in his ways to settle down with one man, though? Can he reach for love after finding Persimmon? Or is his relationship more about being best buds with Persimmon? Only time and persimmon tea will provide the answers to his steeping questions.

You are cordially invited to view another of a triptych of stories involving the lives and loves of gay men who work or volunteer at the Sunrise Arts Center in Stafford, North Carolina.

Although he does phys ed -- he's gay and wants to look good -- he prefers arts, particularly photography. He spends much of his free time at the Sunrise Arts Center, whose new and incredibly sexy director helps Louis put together a portfolio of his work for his college applications.
The quintessential soccer jock, Judd Thomas, is keeping a secret. He's gay. He struggles to write a term paper on the sculptor Bernini and his art teacher is little help so he's introduced to Louis to help him get the art terms and concepts right. Judd and Louis make for unlikely study buddies, much less lovers, but they say opposites attract, and Judd and Louis are definitely attracted to each other.
Some members of the soccer team object to their star striker associating with someone they perceive as gay, and try to ruin Judd's chances of getting a soccer scholarship to college. Judd and Louis are still young, and their lives are bound to go in different directions after graduation. Will their relationship develop into something beautiful, or will they be forced to call it quits and walk away?

Since neither are willing to become stereotypes, and neither have studio boyfriends, they take another path -- hiding their relationship under the cover of a pretend girlfriend.
What works for Ethan, though, doesn't work for Alex, who screws up to the point of losing his job and the chance to get another. His manager finally finds him another job across the pond, where he meets Nathan Wells.
Nathan can be the prominent producer Alex needs to further his career, but there's something Alex doesn't know about the man. Soon Wells grows obsessed with Alex, and he'll do anything to keep Alex from getting away.
Though Nathan wants Alex for himself, there's still Ethan to think about. Is the love story between Alex and Ethan really over? Or will Ethan find a way to get his boyfriend back?
