Summary

Meet Jim Greene. 
An ordinary detective constable trying 'not' to solve a murder. 
 
The remote and isolated Cornish island of Gallymay was meant to be the perfect place for a break. But things don’t quite go to plan when Jim stumbles across a body on his first day. 
 
Which is the last thing he needs. But it’s fine. He’ll call Devon and Cornwall Police. They’ll sort it out. 
 
Except the storm, and the island, have other ideas. Cut off from the mainland during a mid-winter storm, Jim finds himself reluctantly thrust into a murder investigation, assisted by a ragtag group of well-meaning locals, in a chaotic, heartfelt, and often laugh-out-loud “almost” cosy mystery.
