    YOUNG BLACKBEARD THE PIRATE
    PORT OF BRISTOL 1690
Book 6 of 6 – The Great water balloon ambush
Here is the summary of the Story:
In 1690s Bristol, young Edward Teach (future Blackbeard) leads his crew in their most daring raid yet—ambushing their own parents' picnic with water balloons. After days of restless boredom aboard The Salty Pickle, Edward masterminds the attack: modified spud cannons launch pig-bladder balloons, Charles leads a bucket brigade, and Anne's piercing scream signals the assault. The crew infiltrates the meadow with military precision, soaking the unsuspecting adults in a glorious, chaotic battle. Though initially stunned, the parents join the fun, surrendering their soggy sandwiches with laughter. This final adventure showcases Edward's tactical genius and flair for dramatic command—qualities that would later make him history's most feared pirate. The story blends authentic period details with childhood whimsy, concluding the series by demonstrating how Blackbeard's legendary leadership began with simple backyard adventures and loyal friends who followed him into any mischief.
This is the last of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy this final instalment, and it's only $3.
the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes being accordion, fiddle, harmonica and bango in a classical sea shanty jig. The closing music ends the tale on a similar jig and at about 2 minutes with the same musical instruments but more upbeat looking forward to the next episode.
The story itself runs to about 35 minutes is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

Why should the bright and flashy animals get all of the attention? If you look closely at some seemingly ordinary animals, you may find a colorful surprise. A lizard is brown. A hippo is gray. But wait! The lizard has a blue tongue to scare predators, and the hippo has pink "sweat" that protects it from the sun! Brilliant photos accompany author Jane Park's rhyming nonfiction text in this playful exploration of animals' hidden colors.
