He's a founder and Board Chair of the Academy of Medical Aid-In-Dying, where he helps develop best practices, clinician education, and policy in this emerging field. He has also consulted widely with hospitals, ethics committees, and state efforts to implement aid-in-dying laws. He is the author of A Chosen Death (Simon & Schuster 1995) and Medical Aid In Dying: A Guide For Patients And Their Supporters (American Clinicians Academy on Medical Aid in Dying, 2022)

  The New Era of Space Stations

  We are at an exciting threshold for the development and deployment of private space stations and more advanced designs from various countries. This trend shows how quickly space technologies are developing. 
  The advancements in cheaper rockets to carry more payloads into Earth’s orbit in a less costly manner is another trend which is supporting the development of these new space stations and space transportation options. 
  The last few years a lot of companies and governments are making plans to develop and deploy a variety of space stations and moon bases. This seems like to good time to update everyone with what are these latest plans, space technologies, transportation options and more. 
  I’ve tried to include all I could find on new space technologies and plans relevant to working and living in space. 
  I wrote a book on Space in 2017 titled “Designing and Building Space Colonies” along with another ten space related books later on. So this is one of my favorite genres.

  One of the fundamental mathematical tools in physics is calculus, which provides the framework for describing the motion of objects, the behavior of fields, and the change of physical quantities over time and space. Newton and Leibniz independently developed the principles of differential and integral calculus, which allowed for the precise formulation of classical mechanics and gravitation. Differential calculus deals with rates of change and slopes of curves, which are essential in defining velocity, acceleration, and force. Integral calculus, on the other hand, is used to calculate areas under curves and accumulated quantities, such as work and potential energy.

  This audiobook, A Very Convenient Warming, is separated into three sections:The first section, titled Basic Climate Facts, is an expansion and update of Inconvenient Facts’ exploration of data concerning temperature and carbon dioxide. In it, we look at both the very recent and very long-term changes in both. This review clearly exposes that claims of unusual and unprecedented warming are erroneous and that hysteria over increases in CO2 are unwarranted. We also take a close look at the relationship between CO2 and temperature and find nothing of concern. 
  In the second section, Humanity and Climate: Blessed Warmth, Horrific Cold, we review the strong relationship between the histories of humanity and temperature. In it, we find that past warm periods were warmer than today and correlated to the rise of great empires and civilizations. These warmer times of plenty were called “climate optima” before the rampant politization of climate science. The corollary to this were the cold periods that were horrific. Each cooling period was related to crop failure, famine, pestilence, and mass depopulation. History tells us that we should fear the cold and welcome the warmth. 
  In the final section, Life Is Good, And Getting Better, you will learn that the various climate crises are, in fact, simply lies created to spread fear of a nonexistent problem. In this section we explore the many benefits that are improving the human condition and leading to thriving ecosystems. 
  My hope is that I have presented enough material in this audiobook for you to confidently assess and evaluate the various claims made by the proponents of a climate crisis. Make up your own mind, for that is the scientific process.
