Summary

Richmal Compton's William the Fourth is the fourth classic set of adventures featuring the hero of Just William, with an introduction by screenwriter and Cosmic author Frank Cottrell Boyce, Whether he's occupying a bear suit that's slightly too small for him, cloaked in mystery as a fortune teller or attired in the flowing robes of a Fairy Queen, William is unmistakably himself: trouble in human form. Only Great-Aunt Jane manages to take William on at his own game – and win! There is only one William. This tousle-headed, snub-nosed, hearty, loveable imp of mischief has been harassing his unfortunate family and delighting his hundreds of thousands of admirers since 1922.

Beware the gossips! Lady Sneerwell and her hireling Snake are certainly up to no good in this timeless send-up of hypocritical manners. Thanks to their scandal-mongering, the comely Lady Teazle must fend off the slanderous barbs that have caught the ear of her elderly husband - as well as every other gossip in London! What follows is a torrent of mistaken identities and sex-crazed scheming in which the upper classes have never looked so low class.Includes an interview with Michael Hackett, the Chair of the Department of Theater in the School of Theater, Film and Television at the University of California-Los Angeles.

    THE GALACTIC FEDERATION OF LIGHT
Book 5 of 6 The bloodstar rebellion
This is the fifth book in the series and the plot is as follows:
General Vex Draxus, disillusioned with the Galactic Federation, declares independence for the Zorathian Free State and unveils the Bloodstar—a warship created using forbidden black-hole forge technology. Unknown to Draxus, the Bloodstar's core contains a trapped cosmic entity, and the Kessari are secretly aiding his rebellion to further their own agenda.
As the Federation debates between negotiation and military action, the Elurians discover the entity's presence. When the Bloodstar activates, the entity awakens and begins transforming the ship, threatening millions of lives.
In a desperate gambit, Draxus—realizing he was manipulated—joins a Federation strike team to deploy a quantum resonance disruptor at the ship's core. Before being forced back into dormancy, the entity reveals that the precursor homeworld is actually a prison containing ancient beings who are beginning to stir.
The rebellion collapses, but a greater threat now looms on the horizon.
I do hope you enjoy this fifth instalment, and it's only $3.
the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a fast paced modern beat that gets you ready for the out of this world story. The closing music ends the tale on a dark foreboding beat anticipating the next instalment.
The story itself runs to about 14 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
