    The Abandoned of Yan by Donald F. Daley - The Abandoned have neither rights nor hopes. They only have revenge!
    After her husband left her, Marigold filed a protection-request form and an availability form.
    She did not do this immediately. She stayed up for the better part of the night, hoping that he would come back. She could not bring herself to believe that he would really walk out on her and leave her available for confiscation, or for the slavery pool. She also thought for quite a while about the possibility of somehow getting back to Earth, where she would not be available for either.
    She even went to the fantastic expense of televiewing there to talk with her father and mother. They had been shocked and unfriendly. They had said good-by with a finality which left little room for doubt as to what they thought of an Abandoned. They had never had one in their family, they had pointed out, neither of them, and they did not intend to have one in their family now. They had warned her that they intended to report the call to the Beta III Protection People.
    This did not worry her much. The call almost certainly had been monitored anyway. If they wanted to go to the considerable extra expense of reporting it, in order to impress the Protection People with their loyalty, that was their own lookout. She understood that, now, she had no family. She thought for a moment of going up-ramp to say good-by to the children, but she knew that this would not help.
    Besides, it was illegal. They were no longer hers. She was an Abandoned.

    It’s Spidmas in Spider Webdon. But this year, it’s no ordinary Spidmas. As Spid wraps presents and gets ready to welcome his friends, little does he know this will be a Spidmas he will never forget. This heart-warming Christmas audiobook features two songs: 'A Faraway Spidmas Wish' and 'Spidmas Day'. You can also find music videos of the songs at https://spidthespider.com and https://www.youtube.com/spidthespider. Spid is a lowly spider, who wants to better himself, write songs, and marry his girlfriend Bid, though he is prone to hilarious mishaps mostly of his own making. He is hard-working, cool, and a role model for young children. As well as encouraging children to read and love books, Spid's adventures also teach valuable life lessons, including determination and what psychologists call a 'growth mindset' (desire to better oneself and succeed), the importance of friendship, and sustainability. With very creative prose, Spid's adventures are fun for parents, and teachers to read to, and with, their children. They present lots of opportunities to invest dramatic licence thus helping adults and children interact and engage. The humour works at multiple levels from silly and slapstick to more sophisticated wordplay and concepts. Thus, children will discover more and enjoy reading the stories multiple times. Mars the Warning
    Book 5 of 6 – the final exodus
    This fifth story in the series I have written is summarized below;
    As Martian forces systematically dismantle human settlements, Dr. Lin Mei oversees the desperate evacuation of Outpost Alpha. Crystalline warriors disable terraforming equipment while permitting escape, their precision strikes demonstrating superior technology and restraint. General Drake, humbled by defeat, ensures military personnel evacuate last. When Martian forces surround Olympus Outpost, they broadcast haunting images of Mars' pre-human beauty before liquefying its foundations—not with violence, but with the inevitability of a planet reclaiming itself. Aboard the final transport Ares, Lin watches Mars recede, its surface now glittering with emerging alien cities. The Martians transmit a final message: "Leave and do not return," offering mercy but no forgiveness. As 342 survivors journey toward Earth, Lin clutches data proving Martian sentience, determined to prevent future colonization attempts. The exodus becomes a turning point—not just retreat from Mars, but the collapse of humanity's colonial mindset. The red planet fades to a warning light in the viewport, its lesson clear: the universe is not humanity's to conquer.
    I do hope you enjoy this fifth instalment, and its only $3.
    the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 plus minutes sets the scene, so to speak, this is heavy metal first but give it a chance and you will be surprised (I felt the martian beings would be extremely angry over humans trying to steal their planet hence the sound) ends with a warning sound music track like an alarm, 1 minutes plus.
    The book itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
    I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
