Summary

Mukohda and co. are finally leaving Karelina. After a few tearful farewells and an exchange of gifts, they’re off to the next town, Krehl! However, getting there comes with its own share of trouble, as it turns out that sprinting around on wolfback is not exactly the most secure way to travel!

Plus, after they reach the next town, Mukohda gets no time to sightsee or shop. Instead, he somehow finds himself sent straight back out on a mission to a dim forest filled with giant bugs! And big creepy crawlies aren’t the only things lurking in the dense woodlands, as a long-awaited encounter is also right around the corner!

The influence of the comic book has never been greater, from movies to streaming and beyond, but the journey comics took from little-regarded kids' magazines to literary prize-winning books and global franchises turned on a highly unusual group of writers and artists. Few would have expected a small gathering of British comic book fans and creators in the early 'seventies to be a global cultural pivot-point, but this was the start of a disparate movement of punks, dropouts, and disaffected youths who reinvented a medium and became the imaginative heart of a global success story.

Based on years of interviews with a generation of leading writers, artists, and editors, Karl Stock reveals the true story of the wild times, passion, and determination that helped, hindered, and saw the reinvention of comics.

Stock brilliantly tells the story of the triumphs and disasters that rewrote the rulebook on what comics could be and who they should be for.

My story is about a man in his seventies, a pseudo scientist who has his brain removed from his skull and placed inside a lab aquarium - the 'Manaquarium' so that they can study his consciousness. (FYI - They removed Einstein's brain but only checked out his basic anatomy and found that he had way more glial cells than the rest of us - what a waste.)  In this case, they get a bit further down the road. Our hero, Henry has made it his life's goal to learn more about the connections of the human soul to the rest of the vastness of space/time. Freed from the constraints of all of his biological functions, his mind is able to go where no man has gone before.
So - in the Think Tank and connected to the Super Lepton Collider, the upgraded Webb and Hubble Telescopes and the Very Large Array, Hank is able to discern something that appears to be the 2nd Big Bang! If you thought the first Big Bang was all there is, you have a huge shock in store for yourself. As it turns out, they're going on all over the place and sometimes, they even collide into one another and cause havoc over large sections of the universe.
This is also a love story that connects the reader to the meaning and purpose of Cosmic Consciousness but in a completely new way - it's Science.
All of this plays out against the background of our planet on fire and all life on Earth on the verge of extinction - even the oceans catch fire - (taken from actual recent headlines.) But cruising closer to the 2nd Big Bang with the aid of Jeff Bezos and his new Space company - everything works out in the end and all of human life becomes justified at last - but in a slightly different and higher context than the way we justify ourselves at the present..
I don't want to give away the ending. I'm hopeful that I've done Arthur C. Clarke and Kurt Vonnegut proud.

We're bombarded with information like never before. Some of it's true, some of it's spin, and some of it's flat-out fake news. And that's by design. Propaganda helps governments and corporations sell us products, lifestyles, and ideas. Sometimes the agenda is harmless, but other times it's destructive, and it's not always easy to spot the difference.

Whether you want to be informed on the issues or debunk misinformation wherever you encounter it, How to Win the War on Truth is here to help. You'll learn: the history of propaganda, from Edward Bernays to Fox News; why simple messages are so powerful; who profits from propaganda; how propaganda is manufactured and delivered directly to you; and how to find the truth for yourself.

Filled with real-world examples of propaganda in all its forms, How to Win the War on Truth will help you see the world with clear eyes for the first time. Because when it comes to preserving democracy and fighting for our rights, it's essential that we do.
