Summary

When a business woman is discovered hanging from the rafters of an abandoned building in Savannah, police initially suspect suicide. 
The trained eye of Homicide Detective Eliza Sheppard questions the death. Having spent years walking in her police chief father’s footsteps, she immediately realizes this was murder. 
Despite struggling in her personal life, Eliza has a successful career. Married to her work, she takes on the role of Captain when her superior goes on medical leave, leading the team of young, but quick witted detectives tasked with the job of finding the woman’s killer. 
With little evidence and doubts from others, Eliza is driven to follow a lead that many suspect could be a wild goose chase. In the end, her instincts are all she has and where they’ve led her, there is no turning back.
