Summary

When Marissa aged out of the foster system, she carried only what fit in a bag—and the memory of Gabriel, the quiet, steady guardian who made her feel safe when nothing else did. Years later, she returns to the city for a new job at a nonprofit, determined to start fresh and leave the past behind.

She never expected to find Gabriel again. Especially not volunteering at the very same center. Time has changed them both, but the unspoken bond still lingers, pulling them together with every shared glance and every moment too heavy for words.

Gabriel has spent years trying to forget the girl who once brought light to his home and grief to his heart when she walked away. Now that she’s back, grown and driven, he finds himself torn between keeping the lines professional… and admitting he never stopped caring.

As they work side by side with the youth they once were, old feelings resurface—and so do the fears. Trusting each other again means facing what was left unsaid, and risking the fragile connection they’ve only just rekindled.

Can two people who walked away once finally find the courage to stay?

Or will silence be the only thing they carry forward once more?

Life is pretty good for Clove; he's miles away from where he was a year ago. He has a roof over his head, food in his stomach, safety, security—even a job. And nothing means more to him than pleasing his boss . . . nothing. He wants Marcel, though the man is way out of his league. The moment Marcel lays eyes on Clove, he's consumed by the need to be with him in every way. So he brings him into the fold, offering him employment, in the hopes that it will be enough. But when a simple errand yields murder, missing money, and criminal powerhouses out for destruction, Marcel realizes he will do anything to keep Clove alive . . . despite the fact that he clearly has a death wish.

Clove and Marcel are thrown together on a quest for answers. As dangerous as they think it'll be, it's far worse. With bullets flying, lives in the balance, and a future unknown, Marcel and Clove must face their feelings for one another. Miguel & Elizabeth Newquay Beach Tales 2024
Book 3 of 6 Harvest of Hope
This is the third book in the series and the story is as follows:
As autumn arrives in Newquay, Miguel and Elizabeth navigate new challenges in their relationship. Miguel, now comfortable in the water again thanks to Elizabeth’s coaching, introduces her to his estranged, alcoholic father, Paul, at their Truro estate. Meanwhile, Elizabeth brings Miguel to meet her grieving mother, Dorothy, who slowly opens up about her late husband. When Paul hosts a harvest festival dinner, tentative hope emerges as the two broken parents connect—until Paul’s drinking triggers painful memories, causing Dorothy to retreat. Despite the setback, Miguel and Elizabeth recognize fragile progress in their families’ healing. Under a harvest moon, they reflect on grief’s nonlinear path and vow to keep nurturing hope, just as the ocean’s tides persist through change. The story captures intimate moments of vulnerability, the complexities of blended trauma, and the quiet resilience of love—both romantic and familial—against the backdrop of Cornwall’s golden autumn.
I do hope you enjoy this third instalment, and it's only $3,
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 plus and is, what can I say, a love song in modern style . The closing music ends in a modern upbeat instrumental at 2 minutes plus again looking forward to the next episode!
The story itself runs to about 19 minutes and is narrated by my wife, Claire Francis, We used to live in Cornwall.
I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come

Dive into the dark heart of Scotland with William Shakespeare's most fast-paced and terrifying tragedy. Macbeth is a visceral exploration of the corrupting nature of power and the psychological toll of guilt. From the eerie supernatural warnings of the "weird sisters" to the iconic, blood-stained sleepwalking of Lady Macbeth, every scene is charged with tension and poetic brilliance.

This definitive edition presents the full, original text of "The Scottish Play." It remains an essential study of the fragile line between fate and free will, featuring some of the most haunting soliloquies in the history of theatre.
