Summary

Never Split the Difference aims to provide a comprehensive guide to negotiating theory and strategy, giving you the tools you need to negotiate successfully. Voss’s thesis is that good negotiation happens on the emotional level of the brain, not the rational level.

Your job as a negotiator, Voss argues, is to practice and display empathy toward your counterpart by understanding their emotions, learning to see the situation from their point of view and, ultimately, getting them to feel comfortable enough with you to let their emotional guard down.

Although the slave systems required the continual use of force and coercion, as well as the harsh punishment of any rebellion, slaves were not a helpless labor force terrorized into obedience and docility. Slaves resisted and sometimes rebelled, and over the centuries there were thousands of slave rebellions of varying sizes. Slaves commonly resisted in many ways, such as sabotaging their tools and the crops they were tending, but much more rarely slaves violently rebelled, which were for the most part put down with extreme violence.
Of course, a fairly common form of resistance was running away and seeking hiding places in environments where slave catchers experienced difficulty. Slaves who ran and hid out, or who made their own settlements, were called maroons, from the Spanish word cimarron, which means “wild” or “untamed.” The term that historians commonly use to describe this is marronage, adapted from the French word maron, meaning the same as maroon. Marronage took two forms, grand and petty. Grand marronage was permanent, with escapees joining together to establish lasting settlements in inaccessible areas in mountains and swamps, sometimes preferring death rather than being caught and enslaved again.
The Gullah Geechee, or the “Gullah” for short, are the descendants and rightful heirs of the once-shackled slaves who resided in these parts. As the guardians and torch holders of the incredible legacy left behind by their persevering ancestors, the modern Gullah spare no effort in preserving the inherently unique customs and traditions, complete with their own creole tongue, that have been passed down from one generation to the next.

This was the first book, the very first, to issue a warning about the biggest crisis in science and public health. The author began sounding the alarm as a newspaper publisher in the 80s. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. brought the book to the world's attention when he recommended it to his 600,000 followers on his Instagram account in April, 2020. America is now listening.
This little book is a chapter from The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic Cover-up Volume Two, a book that combines the history of AIDS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with a trenchant political analysis of the science and scientists that got everything terribly wrong.
In his bestseller, The Real Anthony Fauci, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called Charles Ortleb, "Dr. Fauci's perennial Boswell." As the publisher and editor-in-chief of New York Native, he was the first person to devote a newspaper to the coverage of AIDS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and the careers of Robert Gallo and Anthony Fauci. Randy Shilts praised his newspaper's pioneering AIDS reporting in And the Band Played On. In Rolling Stone, David Black said New York Native deserved a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the epidemic.
This book is the first book to conceptualize the medical and scientific corruption of the last four decades as a medical and scientific Ponzi scheme. It is a radical new way of looking at medical and scientific fraud that has been promoted and enabled for decades. There are ten elements that the author has identified in a medical and scientific Ponzi scheme that have hidden the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome epidemic.

A lot of people believed that a unicorn was an actual animal. It is possible that the legend of the unicorn was born from rhinos, deer, antelopes or roe deer and other animals with antlers. We will also be discussing the symbolism behind horns and antlers, and the different meanings and interpretations that unicorns horn has been given. You will learn about the domestic lives of the unicorns. Where they live, what they eat and who creates the unicorns.
Unicorns are often connected to spirituality and magic. In this book, you will also find out about the Christian symbolism behind unicorns and why we can still today find unicorn imagery in churches around Europe. There are many mentions of unicorns in the Bible as well. Step into a journey to learn about unicorns in ancient civilizations such as Greece and Persia. What unicorns are symbolised in Greek and Roman mythology? You will also learn about unicorns in Asian cultures and how they can take many kinds of shapes and forms.
