ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"The Firm" by John Grisham tells the story of Mitchell McDeere, a promising young lawyer who accepts a lucrative job at a seemingly prestigious law firm. However, he soon discovers that the firm is deeply involved with organized crime and engages in illegal activities such as tax evasion and money laundering. As McDeere becomes aware of the danger he is in, he is forced to cooperate with the F.B.I. while trying to protect himself and his wife, Abby. The novel explores themes of power, corruption, and the moral compromises people make when faced with difficult choices. McDeere must navigate a complex web of deceit and surveillance, risking his life to expose the firm and its criminal associates. The narrative focuses on his struggle for survival as he desperately tries to escape a dangerous situation that is quickly escalating.
