Summary

Persian vocabulary book + Persian dictionaryThis Persian vocabulary book contains more than 3000 words and phrases which are grouped by topic to make it easier for you to pick what to learn first. On top of that, the index in the second half of the book provides you with a basic Persian-English as well as English-Persian dictionary which makes this a great resource for learners of all levels.

What you can expect from this book:This Persian learning resource is a combination of Persian vocabulary book and a two-way basic Persian dictionary:Part 1 - Topic based Persian vocabulary book: This is the main part of the book and represents a list of chapters each containing Persian vocabularies for a certain topic. The Persian vocabularies in the chapters are unsorted on purpose to separate remembering them from a defined alphabetical order. You can start at any chapter and dive directly into the topics that interest you the most.Part 2 - Basic English-Persian dictionary: The index in the second half of the book can be used as a basic Persian dictionary to look up words you have learned but can't remember or learn new words you need.Part 3 - Basic Persian-English dictionary: Easy to use and with just the right amount of words, this third part finishes off with a second index that allows you to look for Persian words and directly find the English translation

How to use this Persian vocabulary book:Not sure where to start? We suggest you first work your way through the verbs, adjectives and phrases chapters in part one of the book. This will give you a great base for further studying and already enough vocabulary for basic communication. The Persian dictionaries in part two and three can be used whenever needed to look up words you hear on the street, English words you want to know the Persian translation for or simply to learn some new words.

Some final thoughts:Vocabulary books have been around for centuries and as with so many things that have been around for some time, they are not very fashionable and a bit boring, but they usually work very well. Together with the basic Persian dictionary parts, this vocabulary book is a great resource to support you throughout the process of learning Persian and comes in particularly handy at times when there is no internet to look up words and phrases.

Thank you for your interest in Basic Ukranian audio course. The course is designed for beginners to pre - intermediate learners and focuses on vocabulary and phrases that you can use in basic Ukranian communication. The course is based on contextual learning, meaning that you will not only learn just words, but also sentences in which you can use these words. In this course you will find a total of 1,100 words and practice sentences. The course is divided into lessons on basics, activities, housing, travel, numbers, food, communication, mini-dialogues, shopping, family and characteristics. What is the best way to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start with. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (tracks 1 and 2). Next, you have a word followed by a contextual sentence, again in both translation options (tracks 3 and 4). Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). Once you have mastered translating sentences from English into Ukranian (lesson 6) in the time gap before the English translation, you have won. The words alone will help you in understanding the meaning, but using the mastered complete sentences will help you communicate much better. There is a free script available to download at www.audioacademyeu.eu, which will make your activities with the course much more effective. In its introduction, you will find a learning guide along with helpful tips on how to make the lessons more effective and a lesson plan for you to record your learning progress. The script is divided thematically into three parts. In the first you will find a written version of the audio tracks you will listen to. If you're a real beginner, it's a good idea to read what you're listening to at the same time during your first few listening sessionss - it will help you remember the words and sentences better. In the second part you will find the writing tests. For each lesson there is one test of vocabulary and one test of sentences. The key to both test sis available right after the tests too. Again, if you write the words and sentences you have learned in addition to listening to them repeatedly, you will remember them better. In the third part of the script you will find double-sided flashcards that you can cut out with scissors and practice even when you can't or don't want to listen. The course is narrated by native speakers - Jeff Short in English and Anna Makarenko in Ukranian.

We broke our new series on learning Korean down into different learning stages. Start with the “Lower Beginner” books followed by the “Beginner” and “Upper Beginner” books. Next, progress to the “Intermediate” series, then test and reinforce your knowledge with the “Conversations” series.
This audiobook is divided into units. While it provides different learning patterns and accommodates various needs, this audiobook focuses on helping you improve your ability to understand, speak, and memorise Korean. The sample will give you a taste of what you can look forward to.
In Unit 1 you will hear Korean decoded with each syllable spoken very slowly and clearly with repetition. Immediately before each sentence is spoken, you will hear the translation, so you will always understand what is being said. Unit 2 focuses solely on increasing your listening ability, which will improve your abilities to engage in dialogue with a native Korean speaker. This chapter requires you to listen very carefully to nuances in the language.
By Unit 3 you will already notice progress in your abilities to speak and understand Korean. The spoken translation is followed by two repetitions in Korean at a completely natural speed. While you are learning to process naturally spoken Korean, Units 3 and 4 will help you memorise new vocabulary and full sentences. In Unit 5 you can test yourself on how much you have learned. If you are having difficulties, we suggest you revisit the listening, speaking, or memorisation section of Units 1, 2 3 or 4, according to what you need more help with.

    Defeat Writer's Block - Think...

Every writer has a secret monster: Writer’s Block.
Some writers have driven this monster into a corner where it lurks, the great unmentioned unmentionable waiting to pounce. Others chant the mantra “Writer’s Block Doesn’t Exist” in the vain hopes that daily repetition can avoid it. Still others thwart it with superstitious behavior—new notebooks and pens for new projects, story idea spinners to select common tropes, and an in-depth notebook that becomes thicker and thicker until the dam bursts and overwhelms the hulking monster.
Yet something more than simple disruptions and distractions interfere with our writing, creating insurmountable walls that close around us until the monster in the labyrinth takes hold and shakes us into submission.
M.A. Lee and The Write Focus podcast analyze the three broad categories of Writer’s Block and offer solutions to overcome this looming monster. After this examination is a survey of the advice of several successful writers. Finally, a series of chapters delves into the monster-defeating techniques used by giants such as Erle Stanley Gardner, Mary Stewart, and Phyllis A. Whitney.
They defeated writer’s block, and so can we.
