Summary

CALLAGHAN— sole occupant of the downstairs bar at the Green Paroquet Club— tilted his chair back against the wall, put his hands in his pockets, gazed solemnly, with eyes that were a trifle glazed, at the chromium fittings of the bar-counter at the other end of the room. The bartender, warily polishing glasses, wondered when he would go.
Callaghan was wearing a well-cut double-breasted dinner-jacket, a white silk shirt with a soft collar, a black watered-silk bow. His face was inclined to thinness and his jaw-bones stood out. His hair was black and unruly. His shoulders were broad, tapering down to a thin waist and slim hips.

Fire was my only companion. A burning light in a world otherwise filled with darkness. A life of pain and abuse I never thought I’d escape.
I’m still not convinced I have.
When friendly Santa-figure turned trucker, Al, finds me at a rest stop and offers me a job at his idyllic farm in small-town Nebraska, the picturesque family life is more than I could hope for.
And his youngest son, Kyle, is a dream romance that I don’t deserve.
But no dream lasts. As a new nightmare begins, I’m back where I started. Captive. Abandoned. Alone. And staring into the flames.
Except this time the embers are dying, and when the monster in the dark enslaves my soul, no one will stoke me back to life.
If you like a survivor story with a touch of romance, you will love this beautiful dark psychological thriller.

Dirk pledges to hunt him down and bring him back to the United States to face justice.
To make matters worse, Dirk isn’t sure whom he can trust. Someone on the inside of either the US Marshal Service or the FBI had to have helped Crandall escape. Dirk feels personally responsible for not discovering the mole before Crandall was set free on the world to harm more innocent people. To redeem himself, Dirk must apprehend Crandall and put him behind bars for life.
Dirk is determined to end Crandall's evil reign, but the fugitive's location remains a mystery. However, a glimmer of hope appears when Dirk discovers that Crandall's only weakness may be the love he still harbors for his deceased bodyguard and friend's mother, who resides in Mexico City.
In this electrifying tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of justice, REDEMPTION takes readers on a thrilling journey where the bonds of friendship, the depths of love, and the quest for retribution converge in an explosive climax that will leave you breathless.

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON
The case of the missing Shetland Pony.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute. Even so only $1.25 for your enjoyment.
The story itself runs to about just under 7 minutes and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice. The story involves the the disappearance of a Shetland Pony called Buttercup belonging to the young daughter, Florence, 0f a the Duke & Duchess of Belgravia who lived in a mansion near Hyde Park in London in the late 1900's and Holmes uses his powers of deduction and observation to track down the pony to a gambling man who almost sold the poor creature to pay off his debts.. Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, recovers the pony to Florence and her parents delight, with aplomb and goes onto his next case.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of approximately the same age around 10 years old due to the characters involved.
I do hope you and your children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

"The Problem of Thor Bridge" is a Sherlock Holmes murder mystery by Arthur Conan Doyle in The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, first published in 1922 in The Strand Magazine.
Neil Gibson, the Gold King and former Senator from "some Western state", approaches Holmes to investigate the murder of his wife Maria in order to clear his children's governess, Grace Dunbar, of the crime. It soon emerges that Mr. Gibson's marriage had been unhappy and he treated his wife very badly. He had fallen in love with her when he met her in Brazil, but soon realised they had nothing in common. He became attracted to Miss Dunbar; since he could not marry her, he had attempted to please her in other ways, such as trying to help people less fortunate than himself.
