Author's Bio Mother, veteran, former interpretative national park ranger, retired educator, poet and activist, Sandra Nelms-Ludwig was born and raised in rural Bedford County, Virginia, nestled beneath the Blue Ridge Mountains. She began writing poetry at age 12 and has performed in numerous poetry slams and open mics both in Germany and America. Her poetry has appeared in two chapbooks, Litspeak at Hollins University in 1994 and Mouth Music at Big Island, Virginia, in 1997. This collection is her first book of poetry to be published and is a sampling of her writing from over the past 50 years. She presently resides with her Cocker Spaniel, Sir Duke, in Virginia.

  Lucille Ball was an accomplished actress, comedian, model, entertainment studio executive and producer. She was the star of the self-produced TV sitcoms I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy and Life with Lucy as well as television specials aired under the title The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. She began her career in 1929 as a model, graduating to Broadway and later to films. While a contract player at RKO, she met Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz, and the two eloped in 1940. During radio's Golden Age, she starred in hundreds of radio programs, including her own series titled My Favorite Husband, opposite Richard Denning. In the 1950's, she ventured into television and in 1951, she and Arnaz created the sitcom I Love Lucy, a series that became one of the most beloved in television history. In 1962, Ball became the first woman to run a major television studio, Desilu Productions, which produced many popular series, including Mission: Impossible and Star Trek. This collection contains 10 of her popular radio performances and we hope you will Love Lucy all over again!

  Set in the heat and dust of Andalusia in seventeenth-century Spain, Cardenio is the story of a friendship betrayed, with all the elements of a thriller: disguise, dishonour and deceit.
  A woman is seduced, a bride is forced to the altar, and a man runs mad among the mountains of the Sierra Morena.
  The history of the play is every bit as thrilling, and this text is the result of a masterful act of literary archaeology by the Royal Shakespeare Company's Chief Associate Director Gregory Doran, to re-imagine a previously lost play by Shakespeare.
  Based on an episode in Cervantes' Don Quixote, the play known as Cardenio by Shakespeare and John Fletcher was performed at court in 1612. A copy of their collaboration has never been found; however, it is claimed that Double Falshood by Lewis Theobald is an eighteenth-century adaptation of it.
  Since Theobald's play misses out some crucial scenes in the plot, Doran has turned to the Cervantes original to supply the missing episodes, using the original English translation by Thomas Shelton (1612) that Fletcher and Shakespeare must themselves have read.
  Cardenio re-opened the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's fiftieth birthday season in 2011.
