  Jeff Tracy’s radio career started in college and is still going on to this day. Jeff has hosted seven different syndicated shows, covering, Horses, rodeo, history, BBQ and golf. Jeff appears on television as The Cowboy Cook and has appeared in movies. 
   
  Berry has one of the most iconic voices in radio with a career of over 35 years. From Texas and Oklahoma, over to Indiana then to the West coast Berry is one of the best story tellers in the business. 
   
  The voice of Dallas McKennon is featured in this series. Dallas played Cincinnatus on the Daniel Boone show with Fess Parker. Dallas also voiced hundreds of characters for Walt Disney and acted in dozens of movies and TV shows. 
   
  In each episode of The Great American West, we explore the facts, myths and the fiction about significant events or historical figures in our western heritage. You’ll hear stories about Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, Jesse James, Bell Star, Annie Oakley and many others. The stories were written by a group of ex-Hollywood writers and American West history experts. The Great American West stories were written only with facts and no theory. These stories were crafted prior to the advent of the internet, meaning they had to read books, periodicals and transcripts. The idea was to let the listener make up their own minds. 
   
  Our fine cadre of writers was headed by our lead writer, Patty Sprigg, who wrote for NBC television, The Daniel Boone and Disney shows among others. Nancy Bacon who wrote for NBC and David Nivens Four Star Productions. Rounding out our stable of writers was Ted Bryant, news anchor, political analyst and historical scholar.

  I decided to write this book because of the need for an effective system of managing and enhancing people's ability to communicate. Its applications span business as well as personal interactions. I've played the role of an employee in middle management as well as upper management. One essential skill for any good manager is communication. It is important to be able to assess the people you are managing and also to be able to effectively deliver the correct messages. It is not only important to deliver the ideas, but it also needs to be done in a way that impacts the audience correctly. An effective manager must also assess and manage the emotional states of the people involved. I have spent a good part of my life working as an employee and in upper management and middle management. I have also consulted management for many different types of organizations in the public as well as the private sector. I have worked in specific industries such as transit, technology, public works, city government, the military, and hospitality. My approach has always been to try to create effective modes of interaction and communication between employees and middle management, as well as between management and upper management. 
  This book is concerned mostly with daily interactions at the employee level. The system and skills taught can be applied to any interaction in the business and personal life. Management systems are often well thought out and well structured, but quite often, they do not lend themselves to the chaotic, on-the-spot timber of human interactions. The Tao of Human Communications is a system rooted in present-moment fluid interactions.

  Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known as Vladimir Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia, and later the Soviet Union, became a one-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party. Ideologically a Marxist, his developments to the ideology are called Leninism.
  Russia in the Shadows is a book by H. G. Wells published early in 1921, which includes a series of articles previously printed in The Sunday Express in connection with Wells's second visit to Russia (after a previous trip in January 1914 to St. Petersburg and Moscow) in September and October 1920.
  During his visit to Russia he visited his old friend Maxim Gorky, whom he had first met in 1906 on a trip to the United States, and who arranged Wells's meeting with Lenin.
  In a chapter (The Dreamer in the Kremlin) devoted to an interview with Lenin at the Kremlin Wells describes the leader and founder of Russian communism. Wells portrays Lenin as a pragmatic leader who "has recently stripped off the last pretence that the Russian revolution is anything more than the inauguration of an age of limitless experiment."
