This audiobook is an independent and unofficial overview, created solely for educational and informational purposes. It is not associated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the original author or publisher.

Y/N is a surreal, darkly comic novel that follows a young Korean American woman living in Berlin who becomes obsessed with a K-pop idol named Moon. When Moon abruptly disappears, she impulsively abandons her structured life to follow cryptic clues that lead her deeper into a strange, dreamlike journey across Seoul’s entertainment underworld. Blurring the lines between fanfiction, desire, identity, and performance, the novel explores the porous boundaries between self and fantasy, and how far someone will go to inhabit a narrative not entirely their own.

Bluebelle Shea and Enzo Castellari are hardly more than children when they fall in love, despite the objections of their families who have been at war for years. They don’t know the reason for the brutal rift, but nothing matters except the way they feel. Their hopeful plan for the future is shattered the night Blue’s mother drowns—and her father is arrested for murder. Ten years later, fleeing a disastrous marriage, Blue returns home with her young son, Murphy. As she settles into the community once more, chance throws her together with Enzo, and she is startled by the rekindled attraction he stirs inside her. Drawn together time and again, Blue and Enzo try to untangle years of conflicting emotions and bittersweet memories. When a frightening crisis strikes, Enzo doesn’t hesitate to come to Blue’s aid. Resolved to put the past behind them, they fight to learn not only what really happened the night Blue’s mother died but also the truth behind the destructive clash between their families. At its heart, What We Could Have Been explores the bonds between families, friends, and lovers and poignantly illustrates the ways we can heal after betrayal. Suffused with detail and sentiment, this is a novel that will resonate with anyone who has ever fought for their own happy ending.

It's no secret that I hate Phineas Yates, but what most people don't know is that I have a very good reason why. One hot summer, he broke my heart in the worst way, and I promised myself then and there that I would never fall prey to the sinner of Pembroke Prep again. Even if it meant reinventing myself into a girl I barely recognized.

There is a fine line between duty and desire.

I'm not just any girl, I'm a princess. When my family begs me to get engaged to save the family name, I'm trapped with no way out. In a panic, I blurt out the ultimate lie and create myself a fake boyfriend. Which means I need someone to foot the bill immediately.

The problem? The only person willing to help me is the one person I never want to see again: the careless, heartless, hot-as-Hellfire playboy himself.

    Contains mature themes.

    H. P. Lovecraft, born August 20, 1890, began composing rudimentary horror tales by the age of 8. He’s best remembered for cooking up his very own genre, Cosmic Horror, featuring monsters so powerful and terrifying that just seeing them will likely drive you insane. Lovecraft in early adulthood was established in a reclusive 'nightbird' lifestyle without occupation or pursuit of romantic adventures. He was 31 at the time of his first publication in a professional magazine. By age 34, he was a regular contributor to newly founded Weird Tales magazine. In 1926, and over the next nine months he produced some of his most celebrated tales including The Call of Cthulhu, At the Mountains of Madness and Shadow out of Time. Never able to support himself from earnings as an author, Lovecraft saw commercial success increasingly elude him, partly because he lacked the confidence and drive to promote himself. An inheritance was completely spent by the time he died in poverty at the age of 46 on March 15, 1937. Narrator Edward E. French is an Oscar nominated Makeup FX Artist (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) and two-time Emmy Award Winner for makeup creations seen in TV’s “House” and “Mad TV.” Email: edwardfrench06@hotmail.com.

"Abbey . . . understands Sanctuary and its characters. She also knows how to write a short story with a strong main character, a riveting plot that contains twists and turns, and a satisfying resolution. Best story in the book . . . Lalo is the most interesting of all of the characters in Thieves' World and his stories are always interesting. Paxson . . . spins an interesting and well written yarn that closes the book nicely." —brianbookreviews.blogspot.com
