Summary

So, how many lives did Mia end up saving in Sunkland again? There’s Sion, King Abram, and even Echard—in other words, practically the entire royal family. Go Mia! However, her adventures in Sol Saliente put her face-to-face with an opponent she can’t ignore: the glorious taste of sheep’s butter, imported straight from the Equestrian Kingdom!

Her eyes on the prize, Mia immediately accompanies Rafina and Abel on their stop to the Equestrian Kingdom, only to once again be attacked by the horseback brigands from before! Luckily, Lin Malong comes to their rescue and captures the bandit leader, a young girl named Aima. She reveals herself to be a member of the lost Fire Clan, and upon hearing that they’ve hit hard times, Malong decides that he can’t look the other way. He invites Mia to help mediate the negotiations, a position she has no interest in taking. That is, of course, until he tells her of all the tasty milk she’d be able to enjoy...

Every marriage has its own melody… its own beat… its own rhythm. Marriages go through twists, turns, changes, and turnarounds. We are constantly learning what our rhythm is and will be. As a great DJ reads the mood of a crowd, learning when to play more of this or less of that, so do we manage the composition that is our marriage. It’s like the way a song doesn’t start as the finished product we hear on the radio. It often starts as a phrase or line that the artist finds meaning in, and it is developed through time, effort, trial, and error to become a full expression of the artist’s thoughts and emotions. Even after the song is recorded, the artist may not consider it to be finished. Whenever they perform it, they play it differently because they are different. The song evolves as they do.
While our song is not yet finished, we wrote this book to share how it has evolved from the beginning until now. The Rhythm of Love: 25 Things that 25 Years of Marriage Taught Us is a peek into our quarter-century together and a bit of the music we’ve made. In it, we reflect on how we reached this point, the successes and stumbles along the way, and the revisions that remain ongoing. So, if you’re a person who enjoys learning and growing through life’s ups and downs, dive in with us. In these pages, you will find out how we’ve learned, grown, and composed our melody… our beat… our rhythm.

“It’ll be a good opportunity,” they said. Little did they know. Finley, the roving tinker and sales extraordinaire (who may or may not be an elf), would prefer to avoid the heroic riffraff and their suffocating, otherworldly hope. Unfortunately, the pantheon has other ideas which is ever noticeable when they keep dropping summoned heroes in his path, insistent that they’ll be the savior. Why? Great question! Finley has no idea. His world has been overrun by zombies, so why bother? His business is already in turmoil–expected really, when the “regulars” would rather be eating brains than buying flowers for loved ones and the uninfected are busy trying to survive. Yet, the higher powers saw heroes as the solution. What’s a merchant meant to do with them? Or their worthless money in such a vile economy? One thing is for sure… When the horde comes calling, you better have an escape plan.
Perfect for fans of All the Skills, Jake's Magical Market, and A Summoner Awakens, this satirical LitRPG deck-builder uses a card-based magic system and promises to entertain.

Princess Aubrey of Malquar has loved Grady Basset since they were kids. She followed him and her brother around wherever they went; she wrote his name in her diary repeatedly; and she even practiced saying her name with his last name—for years.

There's only one problem. Grady has never shown any romantic interest in her.

As the son of the king's secretary, Grady grew up playing with the royal children. His best friend is Prince Alistair, the second in line for the throne. While he's drawn to Princess Bree, he knows that there's no way they can be together. Bree's station is too far above his.

As the captain of the royal yacht, Grady sees Bree often, but in recent months the princess has been rude, belligerent, and an all-around pain in the butt. When unforeseen circumstances have Grady taking Bree on a cruise in the Mediterranean—alone—things really start to heat up.

Will Grady finally give Bree a chance? Will it be too late?
