Synopsis

Available for the very first time in English, this ‘lost media’ episode of Agaton Sax sees the Swedish detective leave his native land once again, this time travelling in style to experience the glitz and glamour of London. 
Our super sleuth must decipher the mystery of a sticky-fingered thief whose calamitous crimes see him targeting a group of billionaires and their mountains of money. Flown via private jet to a castle in England to catch our corrupt culprit, Sax enlists the aid of his trusted friend and Scotland Yard professional, Inspector Lispington.  
But will the duo discover who is behind the baffling billionaires’ bankruptcy? Or have the intrepid investigators finally met their match? 
The Agaton Sax series of books were first published in Sweden, later being translated into English and printed with illustrations by much-loved artist Quentin Blake (perhaps best known for his work on the books of Roald Dahl). The English translations became immensely popular, achieving the status of the most re-issued mystery & detective series in the history of Nordic children's literature.
