Summary

Armed with a master's degree in accounting, Angus Green faces a future filled with tax forms and spreadsheets, but his dead father's legacy to him is a desire to get out and explore the world.  
When The Next One Will Kill You opens, he's just completed his training to become an FBI agent and been assigned to the Miami field office, where the range of cases is wild and the criminals even wilder. 
Handsome, red-haired and sexy, twenty-something Angus is openly gay and uses his looks and his brains in his first case, which takes him from Fort Lauderdale's gay bars to the morgue on a desperate chase to catch a gang of criminals with their tentacles in everything from medical fraud to jewel theft. 
But if Angus can't overcome his own insecurities and face down violent criminals with mayhem on their minds, he could lose everything he cares about. The street quickly teaches him that the only way to face a challenge is to assume that he'll survive this one--that it'll be the next one that will kill him.
